Pride

    Pride takes the form of many unusual things. We can be proud of our accomplishments, our standing in society,  proud of our health, proud of our job, proud of our materialistic things, such as cars, house, furniture and clothes. We can be proud of our looks, proud of our friendships, proud because we do the right things, say the right things. We can be proud of the kinds of food we eat or don’t eat and also, proud of our children, such as their accomplishments or jobs or standing in society. Gee you name it, and we can get caught up in the web, without even realizing we are doing so. This is why we should always guard against this vicious enemy of ours, because it is so easy to slide into it and not even realize it.
    We must never, be so bold as to think, we are the reason, all of the good things above exist, on our behalf. For they do not exist because of something we have or have not done. It is only because we have a Lord that gives us good things, not because of our merit but because of His Goodness.
    So next time you figure you are deserving of His Great Accomplishments, just pause and give thought to this. Our HEAVENLY FATHER, does not need you. He can accomplish anything HE DESIRES, WITHOUT YOUR HELP. Now I am certain that He would love for you to be a major player in this KINGDOM DEEDS, if you will but acknowledge that all that you are, is because of Him. All that you will be, is because of Him.
           
               He provides the resources, for ie, the fish that swallowed Jonah, no one else did it for Him. Do you not think He could have had a boat with  fishermen aboard to do his bidding? Pick Jonah up and tell him go.  That is much simpler than a fish, but then they could have taken credit for saving Jonah’s Life. He did not want this to happen, and He made sure it did not happen. He was trying to teach Jonah a LESSON OF LIFE, GOD IS IN CONTROL. Why you ask, since God is in the Mission Business didn't he just do it the simple way. That was what Jonah went to get away from, not his mission, but GOD HIMSELF, by getting into a boat, to take him away from God, he thought that would solve all God's Orders, by making them ineffective. Well, Jonah was a man, God desired to do His Bidding. But alas, Jonah had other ideas. He even realized, when the Big Storm came, who it came from, and why it came, for he told his fellow cohorts in the boat, who God was after. NOT THEM, BUT HIM.
    HE EVEN HAD THE ANSWER. THROW ME OVERBOARD AND THE STORM WILL CEASE.
AND IT DID!
    So many people will say, I do not know the reason, why. Or many people will say, God does not control the Weather, but here is a man, who even though he was out of God’s Will, HE KNEW GOD AND HE KNEW GOD’S WILL.
    Even when we are in God’s Will or out of God’s Will, we still have trouble with the word, WHY. We demand answers. Even when we are in God’s Will, or out of God’s Will, we still have trouble with GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY, we begin to think, how dare he become more important than us! He owes us only goodness. But man, who TOLD YOU THAT LIE? God owes us nothing, but he is willing to give us everything. But alas pride gets into the picture and we cannot see the forest for the trees.
    Do you figure, Jonah had a problem with PRIDE. I figure he did. He was the right man for the job, as evidenced by God’s Call on HIS LIFE. I figure, he figured he knew better than God what GOD NEEDED, I figure, he figured he knew better than God what HE NEEDED AND I figure he knew better than God, what NINEVEH NEEDED. Now that is Pride in it’s most profound way. HE PUT HIMSELF BEFORE GOD! PRIDE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
    We all figure, we know better, don’t we. We figure we know the right schools to go to, the right places to live, the right car to drive, the right food to eat, the right people to associate with, the right ways to handle our kids. You name it, we figure we are right. THIS I'M RIGHT AND YOUR WRONG, SOLILOQUY, CAN REALLY GET YOU INTO SOME KIND OF TROUBLE. When you find yourself defending your 'point of view' way to heartedly, you might take heed, as to why you are doing this, AND THINK BEFORE YOU ACT. BECAUSE WHEN YOU THINK WRONG, YOU ACT WRONG! Which is what Jonah did, wholeheartedly.
    I think the Story of Jonah teaches us that PRIDE GOES BEFORE A FALL. After all Jonah fell pretty low wouldn’t you agree.
    I think he finally accepted WHO GOD WAS, WHAT GOD COULD DO, AND WHAT GOD WANTED ACCOMPLISHED. We really ought to watch out on a daily basis for PRIDE. FOR WE ALL ARE JUST HANGING AROUND ON A THREAD, ONE GOD WOVE, BY THE WAY, NOT YOU. This means, HE CALLS THE SHOTS. HE IS IN CONTROL OF WHEN WE COME, WHEN WE GO, WHEN WE STAY, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. HUMBLING ISN'T IT? SO WHAT HAVE WE GOT TO BE PROUD ABOUT?
    THE ANSWER TO BEING PRIDEFUL IS TO BE THANKFUL, FOR WHATEVER COMES OUR WAY! REALIZING IT ALL CAME FROM HIM, EVEN OUR ABILITY TO HAVE UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.
    MOSTLY BEING THANKFUL FOR WHATEVER OPPORTUNITY GOD ALLOWS US, TO BE A PART OF HIS KINGDOM. NO MATTER, HOW HE CHOOSES TO USE US, OR WHAT WAY HE CHOOSES TO CORRECT US, OR WHO AND WHAT HE CHOOSES TO USE TO CORRECT US, FOR CORRECT US HE WILL, WHEN WE STRAY OFF THE NARROW PATH. AFTER ALL, HE DID NOT JUST LET JONAH GO, HIS MERRY'O WAY.

After all, it is because of God's great Love that He corrects us.

I hesitate to write this ON A BLOG, for it is VERY PERSONAL! Then I realized something. SO IS HFIG! You can’t get any more personal than HAVE FAITH IN GOD. That is an individual thing. It belongs in the VERY PERSONAL CATEGORY! As much as I try, I cannot find one instance in the Bible where a Christian went Private, BY MOUTH OR DEED, with His or Her Views

Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:29

    When all else fails, let it happen. Don’t fight it so much. God can do nothing until you reach the point where you quit trying to do everything. The truth will follow. The truth that states, even if there is no promise of a job, a job will be right around the corner in some form or other. The truth that states, even if one cannot see the light in the darkness, it is there shining brightly above all of those dark clouds. The truth that states, one does not have to look any further than right inside one’s being. The truth that states, you carry it with you where ever you go, for planted within all those folds of doubt, discouragement, disarray and disillusionment,  lies a thing called ‘spiritual fallow ground that you cannot see, cannot hear and cannot feel,’ where God has planted within it something called  FAITH.
    Watch it grow, when the watering can is our questions and the water is the negative force brought about by our inability to see a way out of the dungeon. Faith begins to open up like a Rose, in a Spring Moment of Winter’s Weakness. Like Peter, inside of the Prison, frankly he knew he was a goner, he had reached the point of knowing he was in some kinda big trouble, he had reached his NEGATIVE PEAK,  but he also knew he had met Jesus, HIS POSITIVE PEAK. So he slept. When there is no way out, God makes a way out. His is a Creative Force that was present from the beginning before anything existed here on earth and He works even now in the present. God creates a new way out.  He sent an Angel to Peter.

Act 12:6  Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison.

Act 12:7  And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, "Get up quickly." And the chains fell off his hands. ct 12:8  And the angel said to him, "Dress yourself and put on your sandals." And he did so. And he said to him, "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me."

Act 12:9  And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

Act 12:10  When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him.

That Angelic Being from God’s Throne Room of Grace, made a way for Peter to get out of Prison. 

    We must stop, seeing what we see. We must stop, hearing what we hear. We must always respond to those Spiritual furrows, deep inside the folds of our being where God has planted Faith and say, ‘you know there just might be a way, if I quit looking for it, in all the old ways that I am aware of, and let God do it. We must believe, what we cannot see. We must believe, what we cannot hear. God expects us to draw close in Faith to Him. He responds to Faith so fast is it impossible to believe that He can move that fast. He, my dear ones, is faster than the speed of light. I wrote a song, I love to sing it.

I have seen God make a way, for my son to be operated on
when there was no insurance due to a lack of a job. The Indians did it in Tallaquah, Oklahoma at their hospital, because I got his Indian Card, he being part Certified Choctaw. All this when there was no way, to stop his Jaw from growing. But they did. They tied off the Artery that was causing it. Now we is Indian. Some people won’t even claim a part like they are ashamed of it. Say it’s too small a part to be Indian. That is sad indeed. It is still a large part of their heritage. They just simply don’t acknowledge it. They don’t need to, they have a job, they have insurance. THE CHOCTAWS LET YOU CLAIM A PART! WISE TRIBE INDEED! I SAY, “THERE IS NO WAY TO GET INDIAN OUT OF YOUR BLOOD.” We needed to be Certified Indian at the RIGHT TIME. God made a way. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen this same boy, Rathan make 30 out of 32 on his ACT SCORE and get a 4 year scholarship given to him, and he is now an Electrical Engineer, a tax bearing and paying member of society. He went into the Navy and spent 6 years also. He has 4 kids now and he FAITHS IT. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen all 4 kids, get a College Degree, One an Industrial Engineer Robert, an Electrical Engineer Rathan, a Video Engineer Ruben, and Rebecca a Chemistry degree. They all did their best, knew they were Loved and struggled through it all. Don and I did the returning student route, graduated with our kids and he got a Math Degree and I got a Science Degree. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen all 4 of our kids FAITH IT in some manner or other. And it was hard to know how to raise boys not being one. And I am sure I made all kinds of mistakes, while trying to raise kids, but I knew one thing. I loved them, I really loved them. And I knew love does not fail. And they are just your normal run of the mill, kids, unless you ask me, and I believe they’re the best, GOD HAS TO OFFER. THE GRANDKIDS TOO. I THANK GOD TREMENDOUSLY FOR THEM AND THEY HAVE NOT HAD IT EASY, BY ANY MEANS. BUT THEY ALL KNOW GOD LOVES THEM. CAUSE I TELL THEM EVERY CHANCE I GET. And they have experienced His Love, for themselves, also. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen God give my son Robert back to us when he was 2. He stopped breathing, by drowning and I asked God to help him and also help me help him.  I was so miserable about it happening, because I always thought I was watching him so closely and loved him so very deeply, and I struggled so hard to help him no one else could and I just gave him to God to do as He chose. God wanted me to see for sure that he loved Robert more than I ever could. And I saw it. When I acknowledged that, God sent Robert back to the land of the living. I was pregnant with Rathan at that time so it would have been a triple tragedy. Because of this experience he has always had a special place in our hearts. God is the God of Second Chances, Third Chances, Fourth Chances, you get the picture!!! There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen Ruben not have a place to stay to finish High School and his Sister Rebecca take him in and help him Graduate from Plano High School a highly respected school in Dallas. She became a Surrogate Mother and as a Sister, it was a responsibility that was difficult at best to bear. But she loved her brother. And she was willing to help. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen God provide houses to live in for years when we had no house, rent free and one of them was a tent my Sister Erma provided and we put it, on Erick’s land in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and lived there for a couple of Months, and then we moved to a stable where Donkey’s use to live in. My twin Brother Erick inherited my folks ole stone house and ran animals in it. It’s a miracle what Clorox can do. Besides when I saw the stable, stone was better than a tent with 4 kids in it and I jumped on it. Erick’s kindliness allowed us to do this. And last but not least one of them was my Blessed Parents, old house in Mannford, wonderful Christian People, when they went to live with my twin brother Stuart who built a house for them next door to him. He truly exemplified the Lord’s admonition, bear one another’s burdens.’ People it takes money for housing. But it didn’t take any in our case. There was no way. HFIG
     I have seen our daughter make straight A’s in High School be a Co-valedictorian at Mannford High School and get a 4 year, Parsons Scholarship to Southeastern State University in Durant. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen God make a way, to pay our utilities. We simply borrowed a Pell Grant for my husband to go to school on. And we paid our utilities on borrowed money. There was no way.  HFIG
    I have seen my husband change jobs in midstream, become a math teacher and now teaches computers and runs the internet. He loves his new job. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen myself, have pneumonia due to the Swine Flu and God heal it completely. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen my gut bust at night in Dallas, Texas, and not know if it could be fixed, it hurt like hell. We drove 4 hours the next morning to an Indian Hospital, it takes you a while to die of a busted gut. But we made it to the Indian Hospital at Ada. They did a superb job, found air where air shouldn’t be, operated and I am alive and well and thankful to all the Indians in Ada, Oklahoma. Give the Indians credit for being there when I needed them, THEN AND NOW!  "BESIDES, MAN, YOU JUST GOTTA LOVE THEM INDIANS, I SAY, THEY BEEN SO GOOD TO ME." There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen deep, forever friends  come along when I was very lonely sitting inside a foreign land. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen God keep our family together when there has been a myriad of trials, troubles and tribulations to separate us. My husbands love never wavered through thick or thin. He is forgiving to the uttermost degree. But he’s also a Strong Man of Valor and Courage and Commitment and Love. He always has been here to take care of me, even when I was in need of Psychiatric help. He has supported me 200% in all my endeavors. And believe me I am a project kinda woman. A woman that has been troubled and trouble. There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen my Pyschiatric Meds & other stuff get paid for by the IHS, because the Navajo’s honor the Choctaws way of doing business. Now Blue Cross helps me when they can & Medicare does the rest. All the health systems have been good to me & are absolutely wonderful and, ‘A OK.’ There was no way. HFIG
    I have seen Don’s brother Delton(a big Rancher in Mead) give us land to retire on, RIGHT NOW. We only have to get a house. There was no way. HGIG
 The answer to a lot of our dilemma's was to 'quit spending.' That we did. Wore holey jeans, did without, cut back on everything. Ate cheapo. Received commodities. My sister Laverne, gave me Beautiful Clothes that I am still wearing, they won't wear out. And as you can see from all of the above, 'help one another,' is THE BESTEST AND FASTEST WAY TO RELIEF. NO PROUDO'S IN THIS HERE FAMILY. HUMILITY REIGNS!!! There was no way. HFIG
    I Have seen my mother in law, who is now deceased, call me for prayer from Durant, Oklahoma for relief from the pain of cataract surgery she had, all the way to Arkansas, where we had lived, all because of bushes that we planted.

     I will tell you the story. One day we were planting bushes and I got to the last one and was ‘worn out.’ I said, “we’ll go ahead and plant it, and led God water it. LET GOD DO IT!” Well, she was not exactly happy to let it be but she was tired too & said ok. When she phoned me Months later, she reminded me of it. She said “remember the bush,” I said, “yes,” she said, “well it rained that night. GOD WATERED THE BUSH.”
     “OF COURSE HE DID, GOD RESPONDS TO FAITH,” I SAID. She said, that’s why she called because she remembered the bush. So I prayed for her ‘PAIN TO GO AWAY,& IT DID.’ There was no way. HFIG
    NOW PEOPLE, LET ME SAY, IT AGAIN, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, IF IT WILL GET YOU TO SEE THINGS FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE.
    GOD RESPONDS TO FAITH.........

    I have seen, I have seen. I have seen. It is a never ending source of spiritual strength that I have seen with my Spiritual Eyes, heard with my Spiritual Ears, that God has imparted to my soul. Such a myriad of things, so many stories, that I could enumerate upon, never ending, like finding my two older boys in the Mountains in California when they were elementary age and got lost. The Angels were working overtime that day. I have to stop, but I don’t want to. For I am forever grateful for all God has done for us. When there was no way. God created a way. HFIG
    When there is no way, God makes a way, in the desert! RAIN!
    CAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHERE HE WANTS YOU, acknowledging your limitations. HE WANTS YOU IN THE DESERT! He don’t want you taking any credit whatsoever for doing anything. Let God do the raining.
    DON’T YOU SEE, WHEN WE WERE PLANTING THE BUSHES, HE WAS WAITING ON ME TO GET TIRED. HE KNEW WHEN I WAS WORN OUT, WAS WHEN HE WOULD GET TO SHINE HIS LIGHT THE BRIGHTEST. This is Pauls, “when I am weakest, then He is strongest.

 In the present, I do not worry. I look forward to the future!!!

As a fortune cookie says, "no one can look backward into the future."  I like that. But sometimes regressing is ok. As long as you don't stay there and you realize you don't belong there anymore.

Now this is probably gonna be the longest blog on record, but this needs to be said, RIGHT HERE.
 ALLS I DID WAS PRAY! THROUGHOUT MY LIFETIME!  THAT'S WHY I'M WRITING THIS. MAYBE IT WILL JAR YOU TO PRAY, IF ANYONE EVER GETS THIS FAR! No I don't look and act like it, but I did it anyway! That's why I turned to HFIG. SO THOUGHT YES, THIS TREATISE ON PRAYER NEEDS TO BE ENTERED, AT THIS TIME.  There is no point in me telling you to HFIG if I don't tell you how it's done.

    He puts all our tears in a bottle. Tears bring us to the throne of Grace like nothing else does. A form of prayer, tears always reach the Saviors eyes. He knows when we are overwhelmed, and wants to help us. He is moved by such ‘Soul Touches as Emotions.’ He is moved by our laughter, He knows when we feel good and He wants to continue having us do so. But even in laughter, our hearts are heavy, He knows this. So He takes this heaviness and helps us to see, that yes, it will soon be ok. He never leaves us in a ‘State of Discontent.’ For He is always hearing us, seeing us and touching us. He wants to supply our every need, if we but listen to His way concerning the Supply Chain. He does not want to leave us in a State that will exhibit, ‘He never heard us.’ For we know He heard our sighs, our moans, our pain, our agony and he wishes to answer them for us.  He is the Advocate to the Father for us. The Father knows us through Jesus. For He brings us right into the Holy of Holies where He is sitting and intercedes for each and every one of us.
    Now I pray, standing, sitting, while talking, while listening, while laughing, while crying, while sick, while whole, while moaning, while groaning, while in ‘Agony of Heart,’ all of these ways, I pray.
    I love to pray. I pray for people I do not know, I pray for people, other people ask me to pray for, I pray for people, God tells me to pray for, I pray for the sick, the lonely, the friendless, the moneyless, the sad, the happy, the broken hearted. I pray for all of the attributes any human being can have, and I can pray for whatever God says to. I really do love to pray. I have prayed and never gotten an answer, it seemed. But I believe in the Prayer of Importunity, so I pray and I pray and I pray for the same thing sometimes, and then if I get no response, I let it go. But listen let me tell you, he never lets a prayer go. He is always in the process of seeing to it that it is answered in some form or other. Don’t ever think because you do not see immediate results that he has forgotten about you, for this is not true. He has you written on the Palm of His Hand. That is how close your are to Him, so why would he want to discourage you. He does not.
He wants us to come to Him in Prayer for whatever our needs are, He wants us to come into prayer anytime, anyplace, anywhere. He wants us to come to His Throne of Grace to receive Mercy in our time of need, all the time. We are the needy, folks. Not Him! We cannot out ask Him. It is impossible to do. He’s never ending! He’s sovereign, He’s immutable, He’s Omnipotent, He’s Omniscient, He’s Omnipresent, He has no beginning, no ending, He’s Love!LoverLike Paul says, I know how to live with, I know how to live without. It’s irrelevant which way the ball falls, the Father knows who’s Court the Ball is in. Enjoy what you got, where ever you be!  But please, keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking, keep on interceding where you are.

He likes company! 

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine . . . be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus. - Ephesians 3:20-21

 Here I go again! Oh well, I thought this DD was good, for me. In the Name of Jesus Kinda Good!!! Maybe it will be good for you. If not, leave me a comment, I'll pray for me and you.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased . . . you . . . are being built up a spiritual house . . . to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ" (Heb_13:15-16 and 1Pe_2:5).
    To me this implies, that we are to forever, be praising God for all the good things that come our way. The lips are to give thanks to His Name. At the same time, for the words of our mouth to line up with our actions, we are to do good and share with those to whom the Lord has sent us to help. We are not to be silent about who it is, that is responsible for our actions. We do not take credit for all we do, but in the name of Jesus we are to give him the credit, for sending us to do such things. We must speak up, as well as help another, and give thanks to Him from whom all blessings flow.
    I know when I give things, I have sometimes, just not mentioned why I do such deeds. When I do this, I "interfere with God.” This puts me up on a pedestal instead of keeping the Lord at the Center of the Universe, we live, eat and breathe within. I sometimes think I am to share quietly, because of his words to ‘do good and share,’ but I forget that the people to whom I am sent, need to hear the words of Praise to our Father, that go along with it. For the Lord says, “if I be lifted up I will draw all men night unto me."

  Now I believe that I lose an opportunity, to witness to the Lord’s saving Grace. I lose the opportunity to tell the people that the Lord sent me to help them. I truly ask His forgiveness for such actions.This ought not to be the way I operate. When someone receives help, they are vulnerable to the words of the Lord, in such a way that one can reach them, with the Gospel. At other times, they are not so vulnerable, especially when they become self sufficient and do not realize, their good fortune comes from the Father of Lights above, but think they pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps, thereby becoming cocky.
    We know when we do things the Father’s way, He is well pleased with us. Every single day should be an opportunity, for an act of Worship on our parts, in some way. WORSHIPING GOD DAILY IS A GOAL WITH A DATE ON IT. Especially when it is an act of Sacrifice on our parts to help others. It is nothing to share out of our abundance, it indeed is something to share out of our need. BUT, ABUNDANCE IS NOT WRONG, SO ALWAYS REMEMBER, IT IS GOD WHO GIVES THE INCREASE OF ABUNDANCE FOR US TO USE FOR OTHERS, NOT JUST OURSELVES. But by the same token, God is pleased with such sacrifices that cost us something. Although we should always keep in mind, that ‘OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE.’ That does not imply we are not to sacrifice, just that we are to be in an act of contrite submission to our Heavenly Father, first and foremost. Then we are in a better state of mind to be submissive to Sacrificial Giving. There is order in God’s Kingdom.
    This all leads us to a recognition, that we as Christians are a Spiritual House built up for the Father’s good will. We have a purpose, to do the Will of God. And since God is a Spirit we must learn to come to him in Spirit and in Truth. He desires such as we, to be his building blocks for a Spiritual House which is an inclusion, into His New Jerusalem, Jesus being the Cornerstone. We are to be His living letters, his Jewels. 
    We in no way, should think God is a building here on Earth, no matter how ornate or simple the place of Worship be. We do know though, Worshipers gather to Praise the Lord, within the confines of said Buildings, but it is not the only way to Worship God. WE NEED TO REALIZE, the Worshipers are the SPIRITUAL BUILDING and where ever they are, whether in a corporate assembly of believers or out amongst the dirty throng of peoples to whom the Lord has sent us two by two, we are to know, that God is pleased with us, no matter how, where, or with whom we choose to Worship. For He says, where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them. A couple can be in a Worship Service together, as long as Jesus is the reason for the Season. Some people think Church attendance is where it is at. It is not there at all. It gives us ALL THE FALSE HOPE, that by looking good on Sunday, we are Ok for the rest of the week. This is not true. A lot of people are gathered together without the Lord's Presence. MAKE SURE GOD IS PRESENT, who ever you are! THINGS OUGHT TO BE HAPPENING IN LOVE! Gathering in His Name implies, following His line upon line, precept upon precept. We are to follow his precepts if we desire to be right with each other and our fellow man.

Better to leave your gifts at the Altar and be reconciled with your brother.  Then Worship where and when and how, God allows you to SEE HIM, and HEAR HIM. True Worship is within the Soul and Spirit of the Believer, and it truly is between THEM AND GOD. As it was with Able.Cain did not qualify. So if fishing on a lake bed, gets you closer to the Father then by all means, do so. Who am I to judge between you and your maker. God does that. HE is able to figure out who is righteous in their hearts and who is not.  And according to the verse below, it appears a righteous man, LIVES BY FAITH, IN GOD! And as Christians, we should be able to discern spiritual things here on Earth, a little judgment here, a little judgment there, since we judge Angels in Heaven! This tells me, yes, I will be judged by the same measure, I judge. But if I am judging according to God's standard, it ought to be ok, to say, this is right, or this is wrong. AND FAITH IN GOD IS NEVER WRONG!

But he does say, we need to ‘assemble ourselves together, ....especially as you see the day approaching.’ So if one knows God’s Word, one will want to be with another believer while he is fishing, or going to Church. So if one falls, the other can lift him up. Woe to the man who is alone. I ain't saying he can't Worship alone, but I am saying, there are all kinds of things that vie for his attention, and it is improbable that he can overcome them. But even the word has an answer for that, BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. THEY OVERCAME THE WORLD BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY AND THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. So it does happen!

But, I think if I was wandering around this world alone, I would want to have Jesus name foremost in my Vocabulary. So according to this Word of God. One can Worship God Alone. GOD LOVES WORSHIP!!!

SO DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE WHO DON'T GO TO CHURCH! THEY MAY BE CLOSER TO GOD THAN YOU THINK!!!

Instead of CHURCH GOERS asking you, to join them, 'YOU MIGHT NEED TO BE ASKING THEM TO JOIN YOU IN A FELLOWSHIP INSIDE YOUR HOME, OR AT THE LAKE!
OR BETTER YET, IF THEY ASK YOU TO JOIN THEIR WEEKLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, JOIN UP WITH UM, THAT MAY BE THE EXACT PLACE GOD IS SENDING YOU TO.

BETTER YET, JUST DO WHAT GOD SAYS. HE'S YOUR GUIDE. BUT BETTER DO IT IN FAITH!

Separation of Church and State

    I keep saying I am not going to mention God, in my Blogspots. I try so hard to just write about subjects that I know but I also end up writing about subjects that I do not know like this one for instance on Separation of Church and State. I truly do not know anything about it but common sense would dictate that it is kinda hard to SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM YOUR BELIEFS that have so much meaning in one’s life. This much I know. I am sure, there are Constitutional Legalities that fit into the picture that I don’t understand, and I know, Caesar is Caesar and God is God. Now what all that means, I ain’t too certain of, for I do have a problem, Identifying and Separating what I do know.

    And as I write these Blogs, I find it difficult not to incorporate my beliefs into my writing pattern. Therefore  I have been unable to write without mentioning God and His Word in whatever I am writing at least once, mostly twice or more.

     I do not think it possible to Separate me from God. I do not think it possible to Separate me from State or Politics, if you prefer the politically correct word. I AM A CHRISTIAN PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN CERTAIN CHRISTIAN DOCTRINES AND PEOPLE, AND I AM A POLITICAL PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN CERTAIN POLITICAL TENETS AND PEOPLE. How do I Separate me?

     How can one Separate their beliefs from themselves. It does not work. If I don’t believe in something then how can I politically stand up and say that I do. Or how can I not believe something and it not show up in my politics or my religion.

    It appears that one must give up one or the other to be perfectly honest with themselves OR SPEAK UP AND SAY, “WHAT A SORE SPOT THIS IS,” AT THE VERY LEAST.
No amount of Politics will ever get me to deny Jesus. That ought to put a whole lot of people standing in line behind me on that statement here in the USA, except for a very few!  And no amount of living for Jesus will ever get me to Ok what is happening in the name of Politics. One or the other must be denied. STAND UP! AND SAY SO! At least register a protest.
   
    You either believe Jesus, as the only way to God or not. And if you do believe this basic fundamental of fundamentalist teaching how can you have a MEETING with other Religions just so you’ll be politically correct and say at the same time, this is not political. OF COURSE IT AIN’T POLITICAL, CAUSE RELIGION AND POLITICS DON’T MIX. SO WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU SAY THIS MEETING IS POLITICAL, AND MENTION JESUS AND FAITH, WELL THAT BABY WON’T FLY! NOT IN THE GOOD OLE USA. BETTER NOT LET THE STATE HEAR YOU, BETTER NOT LET GOD HEAR YOU!  That is not a day of Honor, but a day of dishonor to a God that likes honesty. If your gonna have a GOD DAY, THEN HAVE A GOD DAY!!!

    SO HIDE IT ALL UNDER THE GUISE, OF A NON POLITICAL MEETING, WITH SARAH  SPEAKING THERE, RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT. DO YOU THINK WE’RE DORKY? OF COURSE, THAT WOMAN IS POLITICAL.   

    But hey, who am I, to understand the deep things of God. I really try hard, to let people who are a whole lot smarter than I try to fix:

    1. World hunger. We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    2. Lack of Medical care. It exacerbates a growing problem. Things left to themselves usually get worse, not better. We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    3. WHAT TO DO WHEN, people’s savings obtain Wings and fly, who knows where, LEAVING DEVASTATION IN IT’S TRACKS. They simply have to plan to work longer and harder, thereby keeping jobs young folk need which contributes to Unemployment. We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    4. The lack of housing or Banks foreclosing on  housing, during emergencies ,AND ALSO in plain ole non-emergencies. We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    5. There are Diseases that rampage the 3rd World Countries and now are our very own concern, due to Planes cutting time into pieces. We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    6. Immigration IS A LIVE WIRE, SLAPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE. I think you need the POWER COMPANIES to solve this problem. WHO’S GOT THE POWER? We cannot side step this issue or put it off.
   
     7. Abortions, YIKES, their CONSCIENCE IS A POWERFUL THING TO HANDLE THOSE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT BLATANT. Murder is murder, no matter how it’s done. We can get all Politically Correct if we want to, and call it a nicer word, but if the truth be told???? TRUTHFUL LIPS ENDURE FOREVER, BUT A LYING TONGUE LASTS ONLY A MOMENT. Forgiveness is Merciful. Get you some Mercy and get it fast. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits -- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:2-5
We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    8.  Insurance Companies, BUILDING MONUMENTS to a dead Medical System, 1 million dollars, at a time for a baby aspirin. HEY, I REALIZE I STRETCH BUT IN SOME STORIES IT’S OK TO DO THAT. I’M JUST MAKING A POINT, BY EXACERBATION(makes it worse). I don’t want the Insurance companies coming after me, when they have to pay for a WAKE FOR THE MEDICAL SYSTEM. Get it right for everyone involved. I believe in the Resurrection! We cannot side step this issue or put it off.

    But exacerbation is exactly the WORD for PROBLEMS THAT ARE LEFT TO THEMSELVES. THEY GET WORSE, BY BEING UN-CARED FOR. AT ONE POINT, THEY WERE TREATABLE. UNTIL TOO MANY SIDE STEPPED THE ISSUES. BUT NOW????CAN THEY BE SOLVED????

    “YES! THEY CAN!!!

BUT HEY, AND WHO, IT’S ANYBODIES GUESS, AS TO WHERE, DO YOU STAND ON THE 8 ISSUES????”THE SILENT MAJORITY IS COWARDLY.....STAND UP, SPEAK OUT, WHO’S SIDE ARE YOU ON, and not just at the poles. BUT THEY SPEAK AT THE POLES. SPEAK WHAT?  THEY GOT A MOUTH don’t they, NOT JUST A VOTING ARM. Mercy, I can never figure out what they said at the poles. That takes an analysts. NOW, I CAN ANALYZE A VOICE. I CAN ANALYZE THE WRITTEN WORD. WE NEED A MOUTHY MAJORITY.

     These 8  are all Moralistic Issues AND THERE ARE ANSWERS TO THESE PROBLEMS, IF ONE HAS THE FAITH TO BELIEVE IT.......... Christians should be concerned with THE ANSWERS!. Also these are Political Issues we should all be addressing for the sake of our neighbor our brother. Ask yourself who’s getting hurt here? Go and bind their wounds. I’m not even asking you to pay for their Motel until they get on their feet, but I am asking you to, at the very least, SPEAK UP.  ADDRESS THE RIGHT ISSUES. BE FAIR. Why deal with the colors on the American Flag, because it’s non-confrontational, and a non-issue AND NOT DEAL with real issues that need addressing just because they are a ‘bucket of worms.” GO FOR IT,  IT MIGHT SOLVE SOMETHING, LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK, WITHOUT REGARDS TO REPRISAL. GO FOR IT! IT’S THE ONLY WAY TO PROGRESS!!! WE NEED ANSWERS!
WE GOT BRAINS IN THIS COUNTRY, THE GREATEST COUNTRY OF ALL, LET’S DO A BRAINIAC DAY!

    But hey we all agree, they all need fixing but from what direction are we going to approach these Moralistic Issues from. Surely not both! For that would be Civil War breaking out between the haves and the have nots. But you can hold hands if you don’t believe the two are capable of being one, to solve a common problem.

    I’ve seen people, candidates say, I’m a faith based man of God. Well then what is he doing in Politics the way the PICTURES ARE BEING TAKEN without taking a stand on a whole lot of ISSUES. He is going to HAVE TO approach every issue based on Jesus or should that is. And that means there is no separation between God and Politics. BECAUSE HE’S ONE AND THE SAME PERSON, TRYING NOT TO STEP ON ANYBODIES TOES! I’d like to see that choreographed on DANCING WITH THE STARS, ALL THE POLITICIANS DOING A TWO STEP AROUND GOD!

Now there may be separation of people all right but it is Christianity they are separated from not Politics. Everybody’s Political whether they want to believe it or not. Christianity in the Constitution, has nothing to do with Politics or Separation of Church and State or Religion, and everything to do with the freedom to ‘NOT BE RELIGIOUS.’ Religious people and Christians have been fighting for years not to be alike. You will take note, it was the Religious People who Crucified Christ. His very own People. Well, Atheists have the right, not to be Religious, so why not CHRISTIANS?

     A man’s faith does make a big difference on what he or she does in their Political Career. It should in reality go a long way toward making him or her different from another Political Figure. I say go as far as your Christianity allows you to go. Then it’s decision time. One or the other’s gonna suffer. Don’t let people tell you what you can and cannot believe, ON EITHER ISSUE. Decide for yourself. For you gonna live with it, good or bad, decision. But why can’t we have an open forum that allows for such disagreements in a sensible way. Write it out for all the World to see. WRITE IT DOWN! Write Pluses & Minuses and Pro's & Con's and Positives & Negatives and Rights & Wrongs. Maybe understanding can come from that direction. Somewhere in all that you should be able to see a pattern forming, an answer borne!

****THERE I AM TALKING ABOUT GOD AGAIN****.

    So you see I cannot separate myself from God. It ain’t possible. SOMEHOW OR OTHER I AM ALL TIED UP IN KNOTS ABOUT ALL THE MORAL & POLITICAL ISSUES AND THEY INVOLVE GOD! He can separate me(I SURE HOPE NOT- BY UN-GRAFTING ME FROM THE ROOT OF JESSE OR THE JEWS, but I can’t do it.(just as he can separate you-so don’t be HAUGHTY!)

But I know there exists the SECURITY OF BELIEVER-ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED! The Son of God has . . . given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. - 1 John 5:20) But He took note of their distress when He heard their cry; for their sake he remembered HIS COVENANT and out of HIS GREAT LOVE he relented. Psalm 106:44-45

    So I guess the point I am trying to make is this, I am Political, as long as Political is Christian. I cannot go against my basic doctrines, of belief. IT WOULD NOT SOLVE, ONE OF THEM POLITICAL, STATE REGULATED, MORALISTIC, RELIGIOUS PROBLEMS TO GET PEOPLE TO DENY WHO THEY ARE IN GOD!

And I have talked to God about it.

PS...now I am not advocating YOU TO, stay away from Politics. I say, “JUMP IN WITH BOTH FEET, YOU’RE ALREADY WALKING ON IT’S ASHES, whether you Vote or not..” But for goodness sake, use some common sense, even if you don’t want TO ASK FOR, the Wisdom God has to offer!

SO, NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO HAVE A MEETING, be gutsy enough to CALL IT POLITICAL. WE ALREADY KNOW IT’S RELIGIOUS!

NO WONDER PEOPLE ARE CONFUSED AS TO WHAT WE BELIEVE !!!

A.  You can be Religious, but not Political at the same time
B.  You can be Political but not Religious at he same time.
C.  You can be Religious and have no Politics at all
D   You can be Political and have no Religion at all.
E.   You can be Religious and Political, if you’re gutsy enough to SPEAK UP & STAND FOR IT

                      So what’s the answer to all of this?

Mixing Religion and Politics

    You know, I really do not believe our Founding Fathers had in mind the situation we have today, where one cannot mix the two Tyrants of Society, Politics and Religion. Each one in and of  itself, has been known to influence the way Governments govern their people. They are like opposites on the Electromagnetic Poles, but both have had an influence on the People as extreme as two can get.
   
    But I do think, that even though Church related Politics has been chosen by other Countries, then and even now, these did influence the thought processes and made connections that had a great influence on some of our Fore Fathers, as their Special Religion of the People. There was naught wrong with this at that time, except when it came down to influencing the way People voted and acted towards their Government. Meaning they made the mistake of thinking there was only one way it could be managed by organizing it under one single controlling point. Why would anyone think that way? It is simply not true! Well, I don't think that way. Recalculate!

     There is at least, a lot of ways to solve a problem but not according to the Politics in Charge.
This led to Religious control by the very ones who should not have been controlling it, the Politically high minded who wove their Powerful Ax and started cutting Religion into Pieces which could be controlled by a more influential Government. AND LITTLE BY LITTLE, RELIGION IS MADE LITTLE BY THE VERY PEOPLE WHO LIVE BY IT , THE LITTLE PEOPLE.

    THE ONLY WAY TO CONQUER IS TO DIVIDE AND WE HAVE DIVIDED RELIGION, AWAY FROM, WHAT THE FOREFATHERS MEANT FOR IT TO BE. AND WE HAVE DIVIDED POLITICS, AWAY FROM, WHAT THE FOREFATHERS MEANT FOR IT TO BE, BY HACKING AWAY AT THE PRECEPTS OF IT ALL, THEREBY CONQUERING BOTH RELIGION AND POLITICS, MAKING BOTH OF THEM WEAKER THAN WHAT EITHER ONE OF THEM, SHOULD BE..... I AM POSITIVE OUR FOREFATHERS NEVER MEANT FOR THAT TO OCCUR.

    They were for a strong Federal Government that’s THE TYPE OF MEN, THEY WERE, STRONG! capable of butting heads with the best! Even Economical Devastation(Good economy, Bad economy)they all come from God! Maybe we need a Prayer Meeting in the White House! Think of Andrew Jackson, he was no weakly nor Abraham Lincoln no weakling there. They stood up and WERE COUNTED.
   
    At this juncture of the road, we act as if the two cannot co-exist along side one another and be an influential part of the policies we adhere to, thereby helping us as individuals, not to have to choose between one or the other. ‘Do I do Politics, or do I do Religion?’ In order to believe and live a healthy Christian Lifestyle, this kind of thinking, could throw a lot of healthy men of God to the Lions when it comes to Politics.
   
    We have gotten to the point, where we have taken God completely out of our system of beliefs. And the worse part of it all, is a few have done this to the many. Now that is a battle plan I bet every General in the USA wished they knew how to implement but it has been done to our Government quite openly, I might add.
   
    But I say, this is not what our Founding Fathers desired. They were Religious People who adhered to Religions they were swayed by, that were Ok’d by the Government. Some even set up Governmental Religions just so they could keep God close to them, where they would need Him, if they were to Govern in a Godly manner.

    This was what made these men great men. They actually believed in something and stood up for what they believed in. They did not cow down when the many(British) came against the few(us). They knew a little bit about battles too just like these latter day people who desire to separate Politics from anything Godly. But a Godly man knows how to say, Whoa!
   
    I truly think, these great men were capable of making themselves clear as to what they believed about having one God worshiped. That is what the men chose to clarify in our Doctrines. It’s us who has muddled it. But they did not under any circumstance think that God should be taken out of all the options of Government, as we have done this day.
   
To speak of God, seems to be such a thing that is for the privileged, under the tutelage of the secrecy of people, who do not want to rock the boat. They whisper, so as not to let the Government nor God hear." My, my, my. Have we lost our minds." God was here with us at the beginning of this great Nation, what’s to say God should not be here right now. A God not relegated to SECRECY, SUCH AS A GODLESS NATION HAS!

    We should be able to say we are Religious and Political, all in the same stream.

Now that I've said all that, let's make sure one understands the difference between Religion and Christianity.
Religion is man reaching up to God(works.) NEVER GOOD ENOUGH. Christianity is God reaching down and saving man(grace.)TRADING YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR JESUS RIGHTEOUSNESS(WHEN YOU ARE TOUCHED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD!)

Religion can include Christians.  And Christians can act Religious. But I know personally a Religious person MAY deny God WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS. A Christian NEVER WILL. For they have an understanding of all of God's Attributes. The beginning of Wisdom begins with FEAR OF THE ALMIGHTY. I feel sorry for someone who has no fear of God. Here are a few of HIS ATTRIBUTES THAT WILL BRING ABOUT A FEARFUL RESPONSE, straight from, Dwight Moody's DBR I can't say it any better. I THINK IT'S TIME, FOR A 'WHOLE LOT OF SHAKING GOING ON,' as Jerry Lee Lewis says.
The LORD is slow to anger and great in power. - Nahum 1:3

We also find a poetic picture of God’s power, conveyed through natural imagery (vv. 3b-5). Like a whirlwind or fierce storm, God’s power is beyond human control. To say He can dry up seas and rivers and cause Bashan, Carmel, and Lebanon (all fruitful places) to wither is to say He has control over even the elements of nature. It’s like saying He can wipe out the corn in Iowa or the oranges in Florida. This kind of absolute power inspires holy fear, as pictured in the mountains quaking and the hills melting.
To conclude, Nahum asks, “Who can withstand his indignation?” (v. 6). No one, of course. God’s wrath is like a consuming fire—it will destroy whatever He chooses. It made no difference that Assyria was a world superpower. This wicked nation would be utterly unable to stand against the righteous power of God.
 
HERE IS A MAN WHO LET HIS CHRISTIANITY PRECEDE HIS RELGION.
The first African ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize was Albert John Lutuli, a nephew of Zulu kings who himself was elected Chief. Born in modern-day Zimbabwe, he was in 1952 elected President of the African National Congress (ANC), which opposed the apartheid regime in South Africa. During Lutuli’s 15-year leadership of the ANC, their protests were mostly peaceful, including a bus boycott. One reason Lutuli fought for racial justice was his deeply held Christian faith. He said: “My own urge because I am a Christian, is to get into the thick of the struggle . . . taking my Christianity with me and praying that it may be used to influence for good the character of the resistance.”

MAY ALL JEWS BE SAVED!

When Things Change!

Sometimes we go along our merry way, as if things are going to remain the same forever. We have a tacit understanding, that all of our plans, are going to go, as we would have them go. Sometimes this remains true. And things continue as is, and sometimes it is not true, THINGS DO CHANGE. Changes that involve, Personal Changes(hair color, makeup, weight),  Change of Shopping Fetish’s, Change of the Church you attend, Changes, that involve moving to another place and Circumstances such as Acts of God that surely promote Change, usually not desired!

    Now I hate most changes, it is really hard to accept some of them. I like those ruts you fall into, the same ole, same ole, kind of thing. At least you know what your gonna do on your list, for you've done it before. Now, you just simply have to work, at accepting change, pray about it, consider it. But I do love to make plans and set dates, on when we will move, now or later, from the West to the Mid West, when we can, and I try to make it happen, before it happens.

This is a long term move. It’s as if I believe, I am the Potter, not the Clay. But that is, oh, so not true. We can makum decisions, and we can breakum, decisions, because of some unforeseen problem that has risen on the horizon. Sometimes it does not have to be a problem, it can be that we have gained foresight, into believing that we can make a living there, as well as here. Or just plain dissatisfaction with the way things are going here, so we dream of another way of life. We only see the good things, that movement brings along. Which is a good thing, for that is, as it should be. We would never make a move or visit, that made it worse on us, if we could, in anyway, help it, or knew in advance The Future! No body wants to go backwards! Just Forward and Upward.

    But that is why we foresee, a Change in the Air! This change Age brings about. Even if one is happy and content in their set of circumstances sometimes it must be. If one made good, where they are at, then they will make good where they are going. There are Plus's and Minus's every time we move. The move itself will bring about good things. Especially when all signs, point to a better way of life, well I should have said, more time to spend at improving one's state of being. More time to do those things like Gardening(veggies, beets, green beans, cilanto, tomatoes, peppers & fruits), Farming(cows, chickens, ducks, geese, goats & pigs)(contingent on us not doing a whole lot of traveling which we love to do-there go our animals-but we can take our dog with us), maybe putting on a manufactured home if we get some land. Papa's not ready to move into a home and relax and play with our Grandchildren, so they will love getting to know Nina and Papa, better, so we will just visit a whole lot. Or if we choose, we can find some other, type of work to do, part time. Or finding Hobbies, Gallore, like Wooden Trains, Book Stores, Coffee and Cinnamon Roll Bakery, or Brewery if we can find right locations. At least, we have those options too. OR, WALLA, WE CAN VISIT EACH KID FOR MONTHS, ROUND AND ROUND WE GO! So we seek it, as the Israeli’s sought the ‘PROMISED LAND.’ After all, he said in Jeremiah, he has plans for our good, to make a future for us. These are just all maybe's, but gotta write the pros and cons out. Plan like you mean it, plan like it depends on you. It does, but for goodness sake, be pliable. Make sure the Lord wants you to go in that direction. Does it benefit you only, or does it benefit, others as well. Gotta give time to 'maybe's' to figure out which is left standing at the end of the day cause IF you give um all a backbone, go figure, which one stands the tallest.

     So we plan and take advantage of the signs, that point us towards the Move, Old Age being a relatively important reason to retire, but low and behold, do not let my husband read these words, he thinks he’s still a Spring Chicken. Guess you’re what you imagine yourself to be, I always say. Well, if he moves like a duck and quacks like a duck, then he must be a duck....(Definitely sexy>>>Uk Oh Young>>>Creatively good looking>>>Kind man)................So I guess the natural question is,’ WHEN.’ That is the thing that I told you before is in the hands of the Potter. TIMING BELONGS TO GOD, NOT US. GOD~after all He is the one providing for it all. You don’t necessarily need to have all the money, remember the 3 PENNY’S, AS WE WALK!
   
    Guess I should tell you the shortened version of the 3 Pennies in case you missed reading it. I needed money, so I was praying. Then I went on walk. After a while I looked down and there was money, a penny. So I picked it up, after all I had been praying for it. Then I walked a while further around the big block, I looked down, and there was another Penny. By now I was uh, unsure, what God was telling me for two Pennies ain't a lot of money. But I kept on with the walk, after all, I needed to get home. So low and behold, I looked down again and here was another Penny. Now I almost thought, what good is Pennies, when one needs money. But I picked it up. When I got home I was thinking about the 3 Pennies. And here is what the Lord showed me. I had to get out of the house to get the first Penny. I had to keep on walking to get the 2nd Penny. And by now I saw it. It was not a Penny that we were talking about. It was about Money. But God used the 3 Pennies to teach me a lesson on Money. Now for sure I had to keep walking to get home and get the 3rd Penny, this meant to me.
    You start where your at, at home. You get to moving outside, you will get the money you need right there at the point of the 1st Penny. You keep on moving and you will get more money exactly what you need at the point of the 2nd movement. And at last, but not least, you will get the money you need whenever you need it for what ever YOU NEED, but you gotta keep moving. So I put the 3 Pennies taped to my computer to remind me how God’s Kingdom works. HE AIN’T GIVING YOU WHAT YOU DON’T NEED. IT’S AHEAD!
    ANYWAY THAT’S THE 3 PENNY WALK!
   
    THESE ARE THINGS THAT CAN AFFECT OUR DECISION TO MOVE OR VISIT.
    Here is why, I believe this to be true. One’s health can get dropsy, causing you to change your leave time, THAT IS GOD REGULATED, one’s wealth can fall by the wayside and the birdies eat it up or one could win the lottery, that would certainly, affect your ability to move, THAT IS GOD REGULATED also! Other people’s  health can be precipitous, thereby showing Mercy would be a call, you would want to make, thereby, changing your arrival time,  THAT IS GOD REGULATED. As for when and where and how, that is God regulated also! You see, so many OTHER things could affect, your ARRIVAL TIME, AND THAT IS GOD REGULATED, FOR SURE.

Now, I think, it would behoove us all, to talk to the MAN WITH THE TIMER! Find out WHAT TIME IT IS. HE will tell you . Then everything else just falls into it’s proper place-health, wealth, family’s health, families wealth. GOD~after all He is the one providing for it all. You don’t necessarily need to have all the money, remember the 3 PENNY WALK.


    And if you think you’re making the decision yourself, without HIS consultation, just GO FIGURE THIS! You are just making, what He wanted you to make. He is still the Potter, with or without your approval and acceptance.

    I would contact HIM, after all, HE WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU! SOMETIMES WE AIN’T GOT SENSE ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR US, BUT HE DOES!

So kinda accept that, WHEN THINGS CHANGE, it ain’t no big deal. It’s all part of HIS PLAN, but it’s not always a part, of our plan.  We are ‘LOOKING DOWN’ into our plans, instead of ‘LOOKING UP,’ into HIS.

    So whether THINGS CHANGE or whether THEY STAY THE SAME, REMEMBER, IT IS THE LORD! GOD~after all, He is the one providing for it all. You don’t necessarily need to have all the money, remember the 3 PENNY WALK.
The same Lord makes permanent changes for us, and temporary changes for us,   such as Visits. It is HIM! WE MUST COME TO THAT REALIZATION or we will be unhappy with our lot in life. SO WHY NOT BE HAPPY WHATEVER HAPPENS TO YOU. LET HIM PROVIDE THE JOY!
   
    So even when CHANGE INVOLVES JUST VISITS. IT IS BEST TO PRAY OVER WHAT WE WANT DONE OR NEED TO GET DONE, AND LEAVE THE DRIVING TO GOD! He will never steer you wrong! He understands Visits. He’s used them several times in his Word. Even the Lord and his two destroying Angels, visited Abraham to let him know what the Lord was planning to do to Sodom and Gomorrah. But they ate also. AND THE LORD TALKED TO ABRAHAM. HE DID NOT KEEP A SECRET, AS TO WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS!

Now, TODAY, I think more along the line, of eating and laughing and dancing and other good stuff. These Angels are for our enjoyment and helps and cures and safety and enlightenment and truly to help us with CONVICTIONS of our rights and wrongs. I don’t really think he’s into the destroying business anymore. I do think Destruction Happens, but he’s not individually, doing it to you. I think more along the line of, he’s trying to get you out. HIS WRATH’S BEEN SATISFIED! BY THE PERFECT SACRIFICE, JESUS!

I’m not saying HE CAN’T GET YOU, IF HE WANTS TOO. BUT I HOPE AND PRAY HIS WANT TOO IS TONED DOWN A BIT. And he don't come after you before your time!

Besides, I think when we do wrong, ONE LOOK FROM LOVE, is enough to tear your heart out, AND WE DO ENOUGH SELF GUILT TO COVER THE SEAS! BUT SELF GUILT IS NOT COMING FROM GOD. HE doesn’t want self guilt, he wants repentance, HE WANTS YOU, TO TAKE JESUS, FOR WHAT HE IS.

 BELIEVE HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS.......PAST/PRESENT/FUTURE........ AND IS RESURRECTED, AND WHAT HE’S DONE FOR YOU. THAT IS TRUE REPENTANCE............ NOT THIS, DON’T DO THIS, OR DON’T DO THAT, KIND OF THING........................ HE WANTS REPENTANCE............................... or WHEN THINGS CHANGE!

 CHANGE YOUR MIND, TURN AROUND AND GO THE OTHER WAY, IF YOU BEEN TRYING TO GET TO HEAVEN ON RELIGION. RELIGION IS MAN REACHING FOR GOD, CHRISTIANITY IS GOD REACHING DOWN TO INDIVIDUAL MAN FREELY, THAT’S BEING BORN AGAIN, AND HAVING YOUR NAME WRITTEN IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE!

But that LOOK IS A LOOK OF LOVE! COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN..... A TRANSFORMING, LOOK OF LOVE..... ONE FOR YOUR GOOD........... HE TRULY WANTS US TO UNDERSTAND, LOVE CARRIES IT’S OWN LOOK OF PITY AND DISAPPOINTMENT! BUT HE’S ALSO SAYING AT THE SAME TIME.>>>>>>> HE’S ALL FOR US, NOT AGAINST US!
   
    As for visits one makes, especially if one has prayed about it, when it all falls into place, one would have to assume, the visit should be taken. GOD MAKES IT ALL RIGHT AND GOOD, EVEN PREPARATIONS FOR A VISIT!!! YOU SHOULD FEEL HIM UNDERGIRDING YOU AND EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE VISIT. VISITS SHOULD BE GLORIOUS HAPPENINGS OF GOD~after all He is the one providing for it all. You don’t necessarily need to have all the money, remember the 3 PENNY WALK.

 Visits are good. Mary(visited Elizabeth for 3 months. Lots of woman talk, going on there.)
Peter visited Cornelius(learned to accept the Gentiles as Clean), Paul(visited lots’ of his Churches, he started) Jesus(visited a lot of people, ate with a lot of people too. He Visited with Zacchaeus ). Me and Papa love to visit. It is a privilege for us. We LOVE TO HELP, WE LOVE TO RECEIVE HELP. THE FLOW IS OPEN, IT NEVER SHUTS.

    You just got to have 2 things, to visit, time, and willingness.
    You just got to have 2 things to move, time, and  willingness.
    Isn’t it weird, that it takes the same things to do both.
    Isn’t it weird that you can make both of them happen.
    Must be the Lord!!!

 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water— Joh_4:7

    The casual contact, not a planned one, just one found upon the road of life. In this instance Christ met a woman at the well. It became a life changing experience for her, and I am sure He was met with much to give to her. She found there was something different about this man, the fact, that He even spoke to her, was a testimony in and of itself.

For Jews did not socialize with Samaritans at all, and the fact that she was a woman and He took time to witness to her, was a great indictment against all the people of his time, who considered women to be second rate property of their men.

Yet here He was, He actually talked to her in a simple encounter. And it showed the mercy of God and the Love of God to one who really needed it.

    Now I have met people, in simple encounters along the way, at rest stops and malls and grocery stores and resorts and some have even written me notes about the encounters later. One lady at a resort, said, she was so impressed with having met me. She was truly smitten by my personality, one I hope was emanating my Lord. For I wanted to show there is something different about a Christian and how they view life, she could tell I was a Christian by the way I talked.

     I even had a lady who was in lockup for depression, she was my roommate and one night when I went out to visit with my husband, who had come for a visit with me, we left and I came back home, after the visit, and found her curled up under the lavatory on top of my bunny suit. I asked her what she was doing and she said she missed me, so she found something, I wore all the time to lay down on, to comfort her while I was gone.

             Now this is the way, I think all Christians should be emanating Christ in their lives. Now mostly, in all these women's lives, I just shared my kids and grand kids and  my life with them both and they were so thrilled to hear someone be so honest and down to earth about their life. They really appreciated this kind of thing.
    I tell you, this to say, we never know where we are going to be, or what kind of influence we have on others. It was a total surprise to me that these women, both were profoundly moved by having met me.

    So I can imagine what profound effect Jesus had on the Samaritan woman at the well. He was able to affect others, with His charged personality, and His differentness and his Power and He had a life changing affect on all He met. This is what I feel God wants us to emulate.

    Now I realize, we dress up, to be our ‘best.’ These meetings are planned and not so spontaneous. But when we are just ourselves, amongst the daily grind of things, I do believe we can affect peoples lives, if we do not put them off and try to say, I am too busy, I am on my way to something important. Like the ‘good Samaritan’ that took time to help the wounded and bleeding man on the street, that may very well be our moment, God planned for us to ‘go about doing good.’

We, too many times, over look the common where we should minister, to go to the finery, and dress up, of where we should not be ministering. No wonder, we do not get the results God intended for us to have. We are looking for the wrong thing. We need to remember the woman nobody would talk to and love. She had 5 husbands and even the one she lived with was not her husband, yet God did not condemn, through Jesus. He sent Jesus on this mundane trip to Witness to her about the Real Love she was seeking. God told her things about herself, she knew it was God, she met.

We should take time, to talk to them and take time to love them and take time for all of them, the weak, the downtrodden, the lost, the confused, the intelligentsia, the proud, the culturally unacceptable, even the rich. God has room in His Inn. And let God solve their problems....Listen to them. Ask Questions. Give um time to answer. Tell why you have Hope. You don’t have to be erudite. Just be honest! If you don’t know, then say you don’t know. But, Let’s talk Him Up! RIGHT NOW! People need Hope.......

.We are just ambassadors to Heaven not it’s Gatekeepers.

Rain

 I sense people saying, “oh my, why would anyone Blog about Rain?” But I very well intend to Blog about Rain. Probably because of the effect it has on me. I have to give a little background, in order for this to make any sense.

I come from Oklahoma, where the Rain Storms get ferocious at times. It has been about 18 years since I have lived in Oklahoma. Both my husband and I are teachers. I am a Science Teacher and he is presently teaching Computers and Baby Sitting the Net for the High School. I do not work for a pay check. But he loves saying, I DO WORK, I JUST  DON'T BRING HOME A CHECK, BUT WE SHARE EVERYTHING HE MAKES. He loves allowing me time to 'Work at Home.' Which is great, because I love Music and get to play Music, a whole lot, the guitar, fiddle, banjo, piano, dulcimer and blues harp. And I love to write bunches about everything. I write this Blog, 4 Journals, I AM PRESENTLY WRITING 7 BOOKS. AND HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN 3. Plus I love sewing, knitting, cooking, cleaning, exercising and shopping.

But back to the Rain. Last night I woke up at 2, could not sleep so got up. The window was open and I leaned out of it and could vaguely hear Rain, pitter pattering on the Dry, Dusty, Parched Ground of the Desert. We had a Dust Storm on the same day. It was announcing a change in the Weather Pattern and boy, is Rain a change. But there it was. Too dark to see, but, oh I could hear it, if I tuned into the droplets.

Sweet drops of pure water! Now if anyone’s ever been affected by a dust storm, then you understand, how wonderful it is, to get that dust that lingers out of the air. There is nothing worse than a dust storm, and nothing more wonderful than rain, pitter pattering on the hard, caked dust of the desert. A real desert storm is indeed a magnificent animal. Dark, foreboding and unending, it blows and blows and blows dark furrows of dust everywhere. Even inside, you can taste the bitterness, of the dust in your mouth.

It’s hard not to think of death, at a time like this. For that is what our lives all end up, consisting of, ashes to ashes, and dust to dust. Makes one quite humble, to realize, whoops, that’s our end state of being. What exactly did I think I had that I could be proud of. Then I realize, absolutely nothing, except what God has given me, even down to my gifts and talents. That is why, I dance in dust storms and ice storms and rain storms, with everything I got, to signify, I am still alive. I am told to give it everything I got. Whatever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord and not to men. Col 3:23

A dust storm signifies the end to me. I’ve always hated them ugly things, and they smell awful and they are as dark as Night. The ending of whatever is happening to you, now. All stands still in an ‘ice storm’ and a 'horrid rain storm' and a‘dust storm.’ That is why I hate dust storms, They always quote that at funerals. But without an ending, there would never be, no new beginning over yonder, where our Spirit will be residing with Jesus, until our ashes and dust catch up with our Spirits. Yes, my friends, ashes and dust from here, the corruptible, become the new beginning over yonder, the incorruptible.

 For like in Ezekial, the dead bones come alive. Sinew is put back on the bones, ashes and dust become the new skin and walla, our new bodies are ready to meet our Spirit, when they are called, by the Creator to come forth. I always like to think, we are changed from the corruptible to the incorruptible, immediately if Jesus comes back before we die, so the old dust storms of our lives are left behind/a new beginning bursts forth. It’s kinda like throwing Spiritual Rain, on earthly dust here! Something mysterious happens.
   
    Rain signifies a NEW BEGINNING! For if you water the old dust, life springs forth to make new things grown. The seeds of hope, is what rain carries inside each tiny drop. And faith blossoms into flowers that we all love.
   
    How wonderful when rain, brings a cooling relief from a horrid heat. Makes one want to jump for Joy. How wonderful when crops begin to grow, because of the moisture, the rain brings, to loosen the hard clods of resistance, and give seeds a softened pathway, to find their way up out of the dust, into the light of life. How wonderful rain is. That is why I always loved the Oklahoma rainstorms. I would gaze out of the window and watch them, within the safety of our own house. I would look in the dark, rainy night and think, God was walking in the Garden of Eden, in the cool of the evening. My husband worked nights, and I was so afraid of the dark, till when THE DANCE came on the radio, I would dance with Daniel. Somehow dancing helped with fear. Brought me closer to God, anyways and so did the Garden of Eden. I SURELY MISS THOSE RAINSTORMS, THEY ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE ONES HERE IN ARIZONA, EXCEPTING FOR THE ONE, THAT BROUGHT THOSE TORNADOES, IT POURED HERE, just like Oklahoma. BUT Tornadoes ARE RARE out here, AS I SAID BEFORE IN MY PREVIOUS BLOG. But one does not get too many rainstorms in Arizona.                       
    But fear can creep it’s ugly head, in amidst, the raindrops of Heavens Dew. Oklahoma is Tornado Alley. And I grew up with a fear, of the rain, for I knew what terrific devastation, it could bring with it. But one day, driving home from Oklahoma State University to Mannford, Oklahoma, I was alone, and it began to rain and I was not at home. For a moment in time, I wanted to run scared and I mean really scared! But I stopped my car along the edge of a pull off, and felt the rain hit my face, AND I EMBRACED THE RAIN, and I decided it was time for me to let go of the fear of rain AND TORNADOES. So I started dancing in the rain. Man did it ever feel good. So that is why I dance when it rains or blows up a dust storm. It is simply me saying, FEAR IS NOT GOING TO RULE MY LIFE. I AM GOING TO ENJOY, EACH AND EVERY MOMENT OF WHAT GOD GIVES ME, AND LIKE DAVID I’LL DANCE BEFORE THE LORD! AFTER ALL, HE SENDS BOTH THE RAINSTORMS, AND THE DUST STORMS. ALLS WE HAVE TO DO IS TRUST HIM, TO GIVE US WHAT IS BEST FOR US. SUBMIT!

    EVEN NOW IN ARIZONA, I HAVE LEARNED, NOT TO FEAR, THE DUST STORMS OF MY LIFE. And I drink for my infirmities. Just don’t get proud and say you don’t. DUST AND NIGHT AND DEATH, IS AS NATURAL, A PART OF LIFE AS ICE STORMS, RAIN AND TORNADOES, THEY ALL POINT TO GOD WITH AN AWESOME BEAT!  YES, IT IS SCARY, AND FEARFUL AND MAKES YOU WANT TO TREMBLE, WHICH NO ONE NEEDS TO LIVE WITH, BUT JESUS CAME TO TAKE OUR FEAR! REMEMBER THAT. SUBMIT!

                ‘so lets just dance.’ 

Privacy, Facebook & Miss Folks

It seems, the Older I get, the more I miss, People. I hate saying Goodby, but I wrote a Poem, saying, “If I were not going, I could not come you see. And I love arriving and saying, ‘HELLO.’
So I guess it’s just part of Life. Here's the Poems this reminds me of:

COMING
I've arrived with colors flying-With my wings tucked under from trying
To take off aloft-With the blowing of the winds

I've arrived and I'm not here-I've come up in the air so clear
I'm about to level out-With new wings about to sprout

I'll make it and I know it-As soon as I take up my landing gears
I don't want to make it easy-Or to assuage any fears

That I may harbor-From my very present years
Coming is really going-In reverse upon the tears

So I'll be a better person-Only and if

I leave it a better place-Than I have found it here

GOING
I'm going on to higher lofts-Up in the clouds so bare
I'll be a greater person there-Than ever I was here

Going is really coming-Or is coming here to be

I hope without a doubt-That I am leaving every tear
I know I can't do one without-The other sowing sprigs of cheer

I guess I was deep in thought, at one point in my life.(now I laugh more) And I wrote, wrote and wrote, Poems, Songs, Books etc. These were just to alleviate my Need to Write so much. I use to write long letters, not so much anymore, I, Facebook, E-mail, Text, Phone and Blog now. I don’t care what, George says, about privacy in Facebook(in Ok) issue, I love Facebook and Farmville.

What Person is Private anymore, anyways? It’s just like living in a Small Town, if one person knows something about you, THEY ALL KNOW IT. I guess that is why, it don’t bother me to tell someone if I have Blue Eyes or not, by the way the Optometrist told me they were Blue. I always thought I had Green Eyes, but depending on what I am wearing, they change Colors. Anyway does it really matter?  I will even tell Gorgeous George, I have blue eyes, I'm not private, but it is self evident, if one looks at another long enough. Sometimes by looking, one can even figure out, if someone is Overweight or NOT. You can actually lose weight and people don't hardly recognize you. Yes, it is so hard to cover your Looks, but I guess it can be done, with a good Dye Job and a Hair Cut, one can look like someone else AND HIDE IN PRIVATE.OR just do it for fun!!! They might not be hiding, they might just be having 'loads of fun,' doing a changeroo!!! Which is a possibility!!!

Please realize, Blanket Statements are just that, Blanket Statements. But sometimes they do not cover the feet!

Well, I have no Privacy Issues, I write! That keeps Privacy on the Back Burner. So I’ll just go ahead and play around on Facebook. Let them that are smarter than me figure it all out. I still haven’t figured out what’s Public and what’s Private on Facebook and I quit trying. I enjoy it better that way. I figure anything written on the Web is Public Domain.

The Media makes a Man or Woman, and all of a sudden ‘George gets Private on us.’ HE IS A FAMOUS MOVIE STAR, for goodness sake, everybody loves, George.  How very Dorky. Curiosity is what makes people desire to know Trivia about another person, anyway. That is why I buy OK Magazine. To find out what, when, where and how. It’s bred into us from the word get go, when Schools want to know how to pronounce our Names, etc, etc, etc. How many Brothers and Sisters, do we have. What is our Address and Phone Number. We don’t bat an eye, we tell um. So I don’t care if Facebook, followers know I am Married. Some of my friends are Single. They are looking, but why not. It is better on the Internet than standing on the Street Corner hollowing, I’m Single. This way there is lots of visiting going on, and I get to oversee it all, for sure.

Back on Track! Not to Veer too far off the Subject, but I did anyway, this Blog was about Missing Folks. But Privacy and Facebook, just had to cover those too. It feels good to me, to address a few Dozen Problems no one has but me, or Issues that I do not even have, but could some day, Maybe, Maybe not! Besides, these Subjects do not Warrant a Blog, all by themselves, they’d each be too Short, so I joined them all. Hope no one minds, it’s a Trait of Mine to Talk about Two or Three Subjects at the same time, like Veer off the Subject sometimes into unbeknownst territory. Just thought this Time, I would use it to my advantage.

I really miss going knocking on my Friends and Families Doors. Oh, how I Miss that. Having them over for Meals and seeing them at Holidays and just gatherings because one thought of it happening. But I know all these People Miss me too. I just thought I would enumerate it, one more Time. Already faced it, just want to talk about it a little bit more. It’s not a subject that one can let go of lightly. CHEWING THE CUD, comes to mind to me. Missing people causes Loneliness, and Loneliness is a MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS, INCLUDING EATING OUT TOO OFTEN AND TOO MUCH, overbuying too much, never being able to settle down, too much. And my favorite is animals. I love animals, and they sure do help one get over loneliness sometimes, etc. So loneliness does have a habit of 'COMING AND GOING,' SOMETIMES.

Loneliness is kinda like a Cycle of Life, which I also wrote a Poem about: It also comes and it goes:

CYCLE
The wave of leaves-Float around

Sent sweeping by the-Winds abound

Hit by an adverse-Sound

Swish-Swash-Soon their aground

Sent back to the-Soil to grow

Helps to guarantee-The slow

One just has to get HOBBIES, PROJECTS, AND LEARN MUSIC INSTRUMENTS, LEARN LANGUAGES, EXERCISE MORE. THESE ALL HELP. TRAVEL MORE, GET A PET. DO SOMETHING SPONTANEOUS. GET A NEW HAIRDO. Play on Facebook a whole lot.

BUT WHAT HELPS MOST OF ALL, IS TELLING SOMEONE, YOU MISS THEM A LOT. That is the beginning of Honesty, and Healing can arrive. And if one has a Disease, one has to get Healed or the wound festers. Pray first, then go to Dr, and tell them and they will give you advise as to what to do and not to do. Besides it always helps when you can talk about it.
Then there is hope of Recovery. Don’t keep it Bottled Up inside of you, Yell it out, Sing it out, Play it out, have Mad Passionate Love and Love it out. Talk to a complete Stranger about it all, thinking you’ll never see them again, laugh about it. Cry about it, HOW EVER YOU LIKE TO HANDLE THINGS, don’t let it go, a Day longer. Call that person up your Missing and just tell them. I bet you’ll find they feel the same way about you. This Shared Knowledge, is worth more than a Million to you and them. 

I hope you take this as a ‘fession,’ ‘that I am Lonely,’ MOST OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE FAR AWAY and I have a whole lot of downtime alone. I loved cooking for them, Biscuits and Chocolate Gravy-Sausage and Bacon for Breakfast, Fried Chicken-Biscuits-Gravy-Hash Browns-Tabolie-Corn on Cob, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oatmeal Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies, Apple Crumb Pie, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Dump Cake, Banana Nut Cake, German Chocolate Cake. Oh how I miss cooking for all the Kids and Grand kids. Yes, I can cook here, but my husband and I can't eat a whole Fried Chicken etc, with all the trimmings. AND MOST OF ALL, I DO MISS, HUGGING THEM AND KISSING THEM, SEEING THEM, AND LAUGHING WITH THEM IN PERSON AND JUST GENERALLY HAVING A BLAST VISITING AND DANCING WITH ALL OF THEM. I LOVE MUSIC AS YOU CAN TELL, and I would like for THEM AND YOU, to know, HOW MUCH I MISS THEM, FOLKS. But maybe we can become Friends, because I’ve taken the first step of many, that will get me out of this ‘Pit of Depression.’ Just telling everybody, I SURE MISS THEM!!! This leads to, RECOGNITION OF A PROBLEM!!! I will tell you something, it always helps to have an audience, cheering you on. Just ask those people at Carnegie Hall. Sure I'd love to play my fiddle there, along with my Grandson, but I ain't good enough. HE IS THOUGH!!!He's 10. DREAM ON!!!I ALWAYS SAY!!!Man. never take a man's dreams away from him, that's tacky............you let them make the call on it!!! After all, a Goal is a Dream with a Date affixed to it. And by helping me, you’re actually helping yourself the most. ‘THE NEED TO BE NEEDED,’ is a strong urge, AND that is actually the FIRST PLACE YOU NEED TO FIND YOURSELF, STANDING BESIDE A PIT, REACHING DOWN INTO THE PIT AND HELPING YOUR FELLOW MAN OUT OF THE HOLE. 

   
NOW I FIND, I HAVE NO NEED OF PRIVACY, WHEN IT COMES TO ALL THE FEELINGS, THAT ALL THE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE, ALL OVER THE WORLD.

WHO REALLY KNOWS, JUST HOW FAR YOUR REACH GOES. EVERYBODY IS A PERSON JUST LIKE YOU!
WHY HIDE IT? QUIT BEING SO PRIVATE!!!
