WHEN RIGHT IS WRONG

I am no political junky I can assure you of that. But I do know when right is right and wrong is wrong.

SOME PEOPLE THINK IT IS RIGHT TO BACK DOWN.

IT IS WRONG TO THREATEN A COUNTRY AND THEN BACK DOWN. IN NORTH KOREA'S CASE IT WAS WISE. They shouldn't have been threatening us to begin with.

One cannot threaten another Country unless one intends to carry out said threat. I said that concerning North Korea's farce and I say that concerning North America. Surely we learned that lesson from North Korea. They ended up with egg on their faces after we called their bluff with warships surrounding them. And they indeed were threatening us with WMD. How goofy can you get? Of course we are going to respond, when we did, they had sense enough to shut up and back down, they were overpowered. They are not so limited in intelligence that they didn't know this super power meant business. THOSE NORTH KOREANS are not so stupid that they cannot teach us a thing or two concerning political threats. But even they attempted to get stuff to our enemies. Now we can use them as a lesson we learned, when we dealt with them.

BUT IN THIS CASE, WE threatened a red line and then backed down. How stupid can we be? I am not a warmonger but this Country should not be apologizing for doing what is right. If SYRIA'S, BASHAR ASSAD, stepped over the line, they should be taken out. HE WAS TOLD NOT TO USE CHEMICAL WARFARE AGAINST HIS VERY OWN PEOPLE. He did it cause he thought he'd get by with it, getting no reprisal. BESIDES THAT HE HAS NOW ADMITTED PUBLICLY THAT HE IS LOSING THE WAR! SYRIA'S ASSAD IS NO WINNER NOW, IF NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. PLEASE DON'T LET A LOSER CONTROL THE TIMING OF THIS INCIDENT. THE REBELS HAVE ALREADY WON! LEAVE IT BE FOR NOW.

We don't need the Chinese to tell us what is right and what is wrong, they aren’t even a moral Country. Since when did they begin to believe in God? My understanding of them is all their churches are home churches hidden in the folds of God. THEY HAVE TO HIDE FROM THEIR GOVERNMENT TO PRACTICE RELIGION.

We don't need the Russians to tell us what is right and what is wrong, they won't even send Snowden back to us. That is wrong. HE'S DAMAGING OUR COUNTRY, FOR SOME REASON ONLY HE UNDERSTANDS. Tell me they understand morals? They are constantly in a COLD WAR WITH US. THAT MEANS THEY DON'T LIKE US NO MATTER WHAT WE DO.

We don't need the UN, IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE MEALY MOUTHED ABOUT OUR DECISION AND WITHDRAW THEIR HELP FROM US.

We don't need the threats of Iraq and Lebanon and Iran and Syria to tell us what is right and what is wrong, they have wrongly threatened to annihilate Israel with fire, since when is God afraid of the likes of the 4 of them. They are cursed God says so, because they are opposed to Israel. AND OUR MISSILES CAN PUT ALL 4 OF THEM IN THEIR PLACES. NOT TO MENTION ISRAEL IS NOT A WIMP NOR IS NETANYAHU THEIR LEADER.

So when did we fear Countries that are cursed. We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD, SO IT WOULD BEHOOVE OUR CONGRESS TO WAKE US AND SMELL THE ROSES. WE SHOULD BE UNITED WITH OUR PRESIDENT NOT FIGHTING HIM BECAUSE WE DISAGREE WITH HIS FOREIGN POLICY. YOU WERE VOTED IN BECAUSE YOU HAD SENSE, SO USE IT.

This is not Iraq, since when did we live in the past. NO, IT IS THE PRESENT WE LIVE IN, and it is the present that Syria violated. They are for sure in trouble with God. One does not use WMD against their very own people. That is civil war at it's nastiest. I CONSIDER WMD TO BE ANYTHING THAT IS CHEMICAL OR BIOLOGICAL IN NATURE. TO WIPE OUT MASSES WITH THESE WEAPONS IS FOOLISH AT BEST. YES, CHEMICALS ARE DANGEROUS AND SO CAN BACTERIA AND FUNGUS BE, IF FOUND IN THE WRONG HANDS. WHEN ONE HAS THE ABILITY TO

WIPE OUT THE HUMAN RACE WITH SICKNESS, THAT'S WMD. THERE MAY BE A LAW AGAINST IT, BUT THAT DOES NOT STOP AN ENEMY FROM LOOKING. IF YOU DON'T NIP IT IN THE BUD HERE, YOU WILL MEET THE UGLY'S.

I am sure you are going to say Sarin gas is not a Weapon of Mass Destruction, well I beg to differ, anything that piles up kids like that PICTURE I SAW, without one thought of what they did TO THEIR OWN KIND someone needs to make them see the error of their ways.

Even Iraq used WMD against Iran. Now I know why Iran is shaking in their boots, when they think about it.

DIPLOMACY IS STILL ALIVE AND WELL IN AMERICA. SYRIA IS NOT GOING UNPUNISHED, SO DON'T LAUGH, SYRIA. NEXT TIME AROUND, YOU GOING TO CRY.

THERE IS ONE REASON TO BACK DOWN AND IT ISN’T EXACTLY BACKING DOWN. ONE HAS SENSE ENOUGH TO 'PUT IT OFF.' WE NEED TO CHOOSE OUR TIME AGAINST A LOSER.

ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH PUTTING OFF.  WAR FALLS IN THAT CATEGORY. IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU AREN’T GOING TO DO IT, IT JUST MEANS YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF THE TIME. BE WISE!

 Supreme Court sides with Oklahoma in water fight

You know I used to be proud to be called an Okie. I have lived the past 22 years in Arizona where my husband teaches Navajo's in MFHS. He is a Computer Tecky now, originally a math Teacher out here, AND I WRITE OCCASIONALLY. And man I would proudly say, 'I'M AN OKIE, CHOCTAW. Well, man it just ain't so anymore. YES, I AM STILL PROUD TO BE A CHOCTAW, CAUSE CHIEF PILE ALWAYS SENDS ME A BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND A CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT AT CHRISTMAS. I AM A CARD CARING CHOCTAW AND I HAVE VOTING PRIVILEGES, WOW, CAN'T BEAT THAT WITH A STICK, these people are truly 'GIVERS,' CHEERFUL GIVERS AT THAT.

And Oklahoma never sends me a cotton picking thing, but that ain't what being an Okie is all about, is it? No, it's about being PROUD OF YOUR STATE, PROUD TO SAY YOUR AN OKIE, CARING AND GIVING. I TRULY AM A CARING OKIE. But I just read the above article by Richard Woof of USA Today, and I like to have done a flip.

It seems, Okies, took Texas to the High Court and won. But actually in my book, they lost. There is such a animal, you win, you lose. I have always been impressed that Oklahoman's were conservative people who 'CARED,' ABOUT THEMSELVES AND OTHERS, BUT THIS ARTICLE AND RULING MAKES OKLAHOMA LOOK DOWNRIGHT GREEDY, AND UNCARING. And for a State that sits slap dab in the front line of Tornado Alley, and has Churches by the billions and Christians by the gazillion, it looks like they ain't never heard the sermon about the GOOD SAMARITAN.

OKIES GOT TO HAVE A SUPREME COURT RULING TO DO THE RIGHT THING, WHICH IS WRONG. I AM NOT A CERTIFIED JUDGE BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS, THOSE JUDGES SEEM TO HAVE LOST ANY SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON THEY GOT AS A TYKE, ABOUT LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR.

TEXAS IS A NEIGHBOR OF OKLAHOMA AND THEY HAVE MANY A FINE PERSON INSIDE THEIR STATE. PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE, AND FUNNY THING TEXANS LOOK A WHOLE LOT LIKE OKIES. THEY AIN'T ALIENS YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU CROSS OVER THE RED RIVER, YOU CAN'T TELL ONE FROM THE OTHER.

LOVE THAT DALLAS, as my son Ruben and his Wife Michelle live in PLANO, great little suburb of Dallas, we love to visit with them. They have a problem in Dallas and Fort Worth, I read, they need water, they have A WATER SHORTAGE due to growth, and my State has snarled up their noses, turned their back, and looked the other way. Oklahoma is BLESSED WITH MANY lakes. They have A LOT OF WATER, EVIDENCED BY THE GREAT LAKES, THROUGHOUT THEIR BLESSED LAND. I have always believed GOD SENDS BLESSINGS, SO WE CAN BLESS OTHERS ALSO, NOT JUST SO OKIES CAN BOAT ON SUNDAYS.

The right thing to do would be to tear up the Supreme Court ruling give it back to um in little bitty pieces, just so they will have a puzzle to occupy their time with, and then, tell Texas, YES, I AM A GOOD NEIGHBOR, AND LET THE PIPELINE GO THROUGH. AFTER ALL IT AIN'T OIL FOR THEIR SUV”S, IT'S WATER, AND YOU ALL SURELY CAN REMEMBER WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT GIVING ONE OF HIS, A GLASS OF WATER TO DRINK. THAT'S A SIGN YOU IS HIS!

YOU KNOW I AM PRAYING FOR RAIN FOR OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS, DROUGHT IN BOTH PLACES. NOW NOTE I DID NOT PRAY JUST FOR OKLAHOMA, AND I DID NOT PRAY FOR JUST TEXAS, I GOT 6 OTHER DROUGHT RIDDEN STATES THAT I AM PRAYING FOR. I DON'T NEED THE SUPREME COURT TO RULE, OKLAHOMA WINS AND TEXAS LOSES, IN THE CASE OF PRAYER EVERYBODY WINS THE WATER.

WELL IN THIS SUPREME COURT RULING EVERYBODY LOSES.

I HAVE AN OPINION

                                                                                         

Yes, I know, everybody’s got one of those. But my opinion is based on a conversation that I had with a man in California who supposedly was fishing for Salmon, back in 2007. This was on AOL. We were having a normal conversation about Salmon, when all of a sudden; he wrote HELLFIRE AND DAMNATION is coming your way. You know, he could have been a California nut case, or as I suspicion someone from North Korea throwing out idle threats, way back in 2007. They have to have a far-reaching missile to deliver a nuke especially one with the capability of making it to Many Farms, Arizona. They didn’t have that then. So what did I do? Well like I always do when pressured, I WROTE A SONG.

I wrote BACK, ‘WELL whatever comes my way; God will go with me through it all.’ And I abruptly closed out the conversation.  I DIDN’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT SALMON ANYMORE, FOR SURE, ESPECIALLY FROM SOMEONE IN CALIFORNIA. And frankly, I hope I never have to chat with a nut case again. As my husband likes to say, "you can say anything on a chat, it’s anonymous, and no one ever knows who’s talking. AND THEY WILL SAY THINGS THEY WOULD NOT SAY IN PERSON."

But I being the worrier that I am, I could not process that tidbit of info. Why would anyone hate this Country so much? At the time, North Korea was always threatening to send a missile our way, mostly California, not Arizona. But threats always come from that avenue year after year. They are world renown for their threats. I thought you know that is about the only thing that I could see could reach this far inland, their hopes to punish the US for Sanctions imposed upon them. They hoped they could reach this far with one of their weapons. And it was a hope, ONLY A HOPE.

But I wrote a song to explain my position in 2007 and as I listen to it now, under the guise of idle threats from North Korea once more BREATHING SLAUGHTER AGAINST US IN THE USA; I AM REMINDED OF THIS INCIDENT. SO I LISTENED TO THE SONG, AND I THINK IT IS APPROPRIATE FOR NOW ALSO.  No Communist Country can threaten a Country that is free. A threat, then and AS I read about threats, now, they seem so far away from reality, really can’t they see, we have God on our side.

But now they are once again angry with us over the sanctions we imposed when they blasted a rocket into space and succeeded, well partially, for I think it isn’t exactly in the orbit they hoped it would get into and kind of was wobbly at best. But this enemy of the USA has a record for attempting anything that would upset the status quo of the USA. We are their big Number One enemy, well next to South Korea, of course. They hate them with a purple passion, considering they are always doing maneuvers with the US mostly to protect themselves from the empty threats of their neighbor to the North. How do you describe a civil war? THEY HATE, their own kind, I CANNOT IMAGINE THIS KIND OF HATRED. They just don’t care what happens to their people in the South.

But please people; these are one and the same people, just divided by a geographical line that was imposed years again, when we gendered an Armistice with the North. No, we got no peace plan from them. Nobody won, just a silent answer to a problem that would rear its ugly head at a later date. They have despised us ever since. Their UN-forgiveness knows no bounds, they didn’t lose, and we just agreed to disagree.

I am sure that the South does not want war from us. For these are Koreans just like the North, they are one and the same. I AM SURE THEY LIKE THEIR PEOPLE TOO. BUT NORTH KOREA HAS a bad attitude that permeates throughout history, that they are right and the rest of the world is wrong, this we know for a fact. But the South at least works with us.

Now the North being communist dominated, these people would love to be world players, as evidenced by the fact that Beijing, China is one of their benefactors. They have had years to hone this hatred of Americans, and hone it they have. They have passed it down from one generation to another.

Personally speaking, it’s all in their heads, this war like attitude, which has permeated their every being. They full well know that they have our hands tied. For whatever we do to the North will resonate into the South, and we are supposedly friendly to the South. So unless it is conventional bombs we have eliminated the use of Nukes, because of the peninsula they are all on. For it would also hurt our friends so to speak and we would want none of that.

They know this, so they can threaten us with the threat of Nukes all they want, plus now having the capability to deliver these nukes they full well, intend to use them. They have no North or South to consider, but one large enemy whom they hate for no reason at all. And it is my opinion that the threats that they so readily throw at us are not idle ones, for they have been planning this for years, and they have lost all sense of sensibilities. They want to be big dogs, but are just little ones with a loud bark but those little ones got nothing to lose, and anyone will tell you, when they did get bit, usually it was from the little ones whom they did not expect to bite them, so they were lackadaisical around them, and WHAM THEN THEY GOT BIT.

NOT A BIG BITE, BUT ONE THAT TOOK A WHILE TO HEAL, NONETHELESS.

Now that is the way I see North Korea. A flea on a big dogs ass, but unless we realize we got the flea collar and can use it, or the salve for the dogs back, they will continue to threaten our very way of life. We do not want Nuclear War and they know this, but they don’t care, for they know with full knowledge we will not harm South Korea at all and like I said before, they don’t care if they harm South Korea. So they have us by the Ying Yang because we are descent folks, and they have the backing of a Country that doesn’t like us either, China. This Country can buy us up, loan us money and trade with us, but never fear they really do not like the USA. So, oh how proudly their leader swaggers.

And how proudly the leader of North Korea does likewise. But remember Pride goes before a fall. Let us pray our leader has better sense than to swagger.

It is my opinion as it was then, like I said before, that my song, which I wrote for the person who threatened me then in 2007, would tell you where I stand on this issue. I am but a peon, but I will say this, as part of a free nation, I do have a right to an opinion. And that is more than I can say for the North Koreans. Their leaders threaten their people, like they threaten us, only those are not idle threats they put the people who disagree with them away for life. They are not giving idle threats to the USA. My people they full well intend to send a nuke toward us, THEY’VE HAD YEARS TO HONE IT.

It is my opinion that we listen carefully to what they are saying. If they want big dog status, I say give it to them. Seems to me they are past the point of idle threats. They now have something that can harm us EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE LITTLE, listen to them. After all, WE ARE A DIPLOMATIC PEOPLE, BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT TO DETER PEOPLE IN ANY COUNTRY, and EVEN THOUGH WE CAN. I SAY, LETS, GIVE UM WHAT THEY REALLY WANT. FANFARE! ATTENTION! SEND OVER DIGNITARIES, PUT IT ON CNN, ANNOUNCE IT TO THE WORLD, TAKE UM SOME BROWNIES, LET UM KNOW WE REALLY DO CARE, I SAY PUT ON A DOG AND PONY SHOW FOR UM. THEIR BEGGING FOR OUR ATTENTION, LETS GIVE IT TO UM.

MAYBE NOW, WE CAN ALSO, GIVE THEM A WIDE BERTH. MAYBE THEY WILL COME TO THEIR SENSES AND SEE THE USELESSNESS OF FORCE ESPECIALLY AGAINST A PEOPLE THAT CAN MACERATE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

WE HAVE NEVER THREATENED A PEOPLE THAT WE DID NOT INTEND TO CARRY IT OUT. IDLE THREATS ARE NOT IN OUR VOCABULARY.

NOR SHOULD YOU, NORTH KOREA. BUT GET READY, SPEAK SOFT BUT CARRY A BIG STICK.  WE RECOGNIZE YOU. YOU HAVE A NUKE. Now you have to join the rest of the World and LEARN NOT TO USE IT.

BUT REMEMBER, YOU BETTER, START SPEAKING SOFTER TO OUR LEADERS, FOR YOU HAVEN’T GOT A BIG OF STICK AS WE HAVE. YOU ARE THREATENING OUR VERY WAY OF LIFE.

I FOR ONE BELIEVE YOUR STUPID IDLE THREATS, BUT I AM NOT THE SECRETARY OF STATE, EITHER. HE’S GOT BETTER CREDENTIALS THAN I DO, AND HE’S GOT THE GOVERNMENT BEHIND HIM.

Professor Yan Xuetong, a top international security analyst at China's Tsinghua University, said "the key to the North Korean nuclear challenge is in the hands of the United States, not China."

"China is certainly opposed to North Korea's latest nuclear test and opposed to North Korea becoming a nuclear power, but the test was aimed at the Unite States with the aim of forcing the U.S. to normalize relations with North Korea, but if the U.S. doesn't want to play the of game of trade-off, then there is not much that China can do," he said.

Yan, who closely follows government policy thinking on the issue, argued that "the role of economic sanctions is limited," suggesting China will not stop economic assistance to North Korea because of the latest test.

"What China should do is to act as bridge between North Korea and the United States so that they will agree to a trade-off, with the U.S. granting recognition to the North Korean government in exchange for it giving up its nuclear program," he said.

"If the U.S. views North Korea's nuclear threat with the same seriousness as it views Iran's nuclear threat, then there will be hope for solving the North Korea's nuclear problem," he said.

God loves us both.  He chose you all special through Abraham the Father of Israeli Jews. The Man of Promise, THE MAN OF THE PROMISED LAND, ISRAEL, his covenant being circumcision. As Gentiles, we have Jesus who is the Man of Promise, THE MAN OF HEAVEN. The one who was dead but is now alive, sitting at the Right Hand of God. He has promised to graft us onto the root of the Tree of Judaism. We are your promised spiritual cousins. THE HOLY SPIRIT BEARS WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD.
    But still and yet, I cannot bear the thought that you have to face everyday, the threat of annihilation by ungodly peoples who do not grasp what it means to be God like. God is not out to get Israel, as He is not out to get us, Christians. He is for our forgiver (the great I AM-Yhwh), God the Highest (El Eln), provider (JHVH JIREH), our banner (JHVH NISSI), our healer (JHVH RAPHA), our peace (JHVH SHALOM), His presence (JHVH SHAMA). He is our Comforter, our Encourager, our Blesser, our Guider, and our Wisdom giver and He does not hold our faults against us, only don't be double minded, for that man will receive nothing from God.
    I so love each and every one of you, fervently. And pray for The Peace of Jerusalem daily. I pray for you when you are attacked unmercifully. I pray for your past leader Ariel Sharon. I pray for your leader, Netanyahu. I go in daily to your Prayer Wall and pray for all those people who are standing praying at YOUR WALL, I lift each one up to God's throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in their time of need, I ask that God will give them the desires of their hearts and that God will answer their every prayer. And most of all, like I said before, I PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.

Jacob Wrestles With God

WENDYL LEE GOODMAN JR.

I find it so difficult to write this. I am a writer but how do you write about Love. It is difficult at best. NO WORDS DESCRIBE IT!

The influence someone has over a significant number of people shows just how effective a life one has lived. Everyone is grieving in his or her own way. Me I have found it best to just try to formulate my ideas on a piece of paper. It brings me closure and a certain peace that I have done my best to describe how someone who passes has influenced me.

I start with the lad as a boy. We lived in Mannford, Oklahoma. Times were tough. But we always had room in our hearts for Wendyl Lee. Our boys were home and he played well with them. He was so full of life when he stayed with us for a short while. He seemed to love everybody. He was such an emotional boy. He cut himself once and we took him to the Dr and Wow, did he yell. He wanted everybody to know that he was suffering. He just had this attitude that all should realize how painful it was. HE SHARED HIMSELF TO A FAULT AND QUITE LOUDLY. He got sewed up and all was well. He played liked any other boy his age would play. The only trouble was, I knew he was not like any other boy. He had lost his Father before he was born. He missed so much love that my brother had to give him, but he got a whole lot of love from others who would not have had the opportunity to witness his extraordinary life. We got to share him for a short while just because he was an orphan without a dad, AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS.

I lost track of him for a while, but one day he calls after all our kids are grown and we have moved to Many Farms where my husband teachers and tells us he is in the neighborhood and can he drop in and visit. Heidi was pregnant with Trinity Sky. They since have had a little girl Emma Rose.

 He soon filled us in on the details of his life up to that point. He worked for a company that put in Windmills. He told us how safely conscious he was while climbing and how he had been married several times before and had 5 boys. He was so honest to a fault he told us about his likes and his dislikes where people were concerned when he was growing up during his lifetime and why he felt the way he did about them all. I never knew he felt this way about certain people. He was painfully truthful about his life and the people he knew.  As I said, he was honest to a fault; he did not soft soak anything about anybody, which I already knew the honest truth. But I thought about it later and decided you know, this was just because he grew up without a dad. He had a trying time trying to figure life out and it threw him several curves. BUT ALL IN ALL, I KNEW HE LOVED A WHOLE LOT. WITH EVERYTHING HE HAD. HE WAS NOT HALF-HEARTED, BUT A GUNG HO ALL THE WAY!

We took them out to eat Navajo Tacos in Chinle, at the Junction Restaurant. On the way home, I wanted an ice cream, He said stop by the store and he would buy me one. We have two quick stores and gas in this town. They did not have individual ice creams, so he bought me a gallon of the stuff. He was so generous to a fault, but this was his way. HE WAS CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR WAYS TO PLEASE.

He called several times after, AND WE HAD SOME LONG CONVERSATIONS, and then he moved from New York to Missouri. This is where he fell from the crane and was killed in the fall.

I sent him a Christmas Newsletter in November and got his address from him on Facebook.

He gave it to me. He was so trusting to a fault.

This was the last association that I had with him.

I really don’t have any words that can describe my grief. His father, my brother WENDYL died in an accident and now he died in an accident. I wrote on Facebook, that I do not need to understand. And I don’t. I just know both lives were cut short. But I know they loved me. And I know that I loved them.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2012 for 39-year-old Wendyl L. Goodman Jr. of Festus, who died Saturday, January 05, 2013 at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was born Saturday, May 12, 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Wendyl L. Goodman Sr. and Patricia Ann (Murray) Goodman, who both preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by a brother: Brian Wendyl Goodman

He married Heidi M (Varner) Goodman on Saturday, May 14, 2011. She survives in Festus.

He is also survived by five sons: Blake Lee Goodman of Kansas City, Joshua David Goodman of Festus, Zachary Taylor Goodman of Kansas City, Antiono Lee Goodman of Stanwood, Washington and Zachairus Gage Goodman of Hoschton, Georgia; two daughters: Trinity Sky Goodman and Emma Rose Goodman, both of Festus and two sisters: Lisa Ann Collins of Oolago, Oklahoma and Vicki Lee Lahocki of Chelsea, Oklahoma. 

 

A memorial service for 39-year-old Wendyl L. Goodman Jr. of Festus will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2012 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dittmer. The Rev. Jeff Fleeman will officiate.

 I cannot imagine the grief they feel. They knew him much better than I did and had a personal association with him closer than mine.

I feel so sorry for the family. Two tragedies they have had to face. But my sorry DOESN’T mean a whole lot, for it cannot change things. I just know, OUR GOD IS IN HEAVEN, HE DOES ALL HIS GOOD PLEASURE! THERE IS PEACE IS THIS KNOWLEDGE!

I have a very deep relationship with God. This brings me much peace. My prayer is that the rest of the family will allow God to bring healing relief to their lives also. AND LOVE BRINGS PEACE WHERE THERE WAS NO PEACE.
 

 Like I said before how do you write about LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG SUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF CONTROL, AGAINST SUCH THERE IS NO LAW. These, my friend, are gifts of the Holy Spirit. God himself. The third person of the Trinity!

I realize that I had such a little part of his life, AND SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE KNEW HIM WELL, AND THEY TOO COULD ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT HE WAS SO FULL OF LIFE AND QUITE HUMEROUS TO A FAULT, HE WAS FUN TO HAVE AROUND, but what TIME WITH HIM I WAS ALLOWED I knew in my heart that he was an honest and generous and sharing and fun loving and trusting and Gung Ho person to all he knew. And these character traits are some of the finest ones that a person can possess. But I knew in my heart he not only possessed these traits, HE WAS THESE TRAITS.

THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT 2012

Well I guess if I have to write about it, I ain't got it yet. No, the snow fell softly on the grass, the clouds gave an erie appearance of fog, the bitter cold kept me from keeping the front door open for too long, so I looked outside looking for Christmas, but no company came my way, my daughter and grandkids had just left, my husband was working this Sunday getting things done for me, and I was lonely, FEELING DOWN, Christmas weather for sure, but still no Spirit.

I want to see everyone at Christmas time, and THE LORD WILLING I will see them all, I love um all deeply and they love me, but even that seems dull to me sitting here, as I get closer and closer to Christmas. I NEED THE SPIRIT before I go.

I found out on Facebook that my Nephew died, my brother Frank's son. He was in his 50's. HIS NAME WAS JUNIE. Far too young for Cancer to claim him. This rather dulled the Holidays for me, as death has a habit of doing. I am reminded of a time long ago when the kids were small, that my husband's Dad died, HIS NAME WAS BUSTER, and they held his funeral on Christmas Eve. For sure, the Spirit seemed downtodden that day, as in atrociously bad health, he took his own life. Pyschologists say this Holiday has a habit of claiming the discouraged. Depression brought on by Holidays, or the knowledge that something comes upon us that has the power to overcome us like Cancer, is a horrible thought to process. IT STEALS, KILLS AND DESTROYS. And we full well know who is responsible for those attributes. But it is all A VERY LONELY FORM OF GRIEF THAT WE ALL MUST BEAR SOMEDAY BEING HUMAN. EACH ONE HAS TO WALK THAT LONELY VALLEY BY THEMSELVES AND OUR BEING JUDGMENTAL IS NOT AN OPTION WHEN IT COMES TO DEATH. AND WE ALL KNOW DEATH TAKES NO HOLIDAYS

BUT none of those things moved me today, OLD MEMORIES OR NEW DEATHS. As I age, I realize life and death are a natural part of life. Even when they strike at the Holidays, they are muted by the realization that Christ is preached as having defeated death and rose to overcome it, so one can handle this kind of sorrow and tragedy as the Day approaches.CHRIST BRINGS HOPE!

But this does not move me to feel badly at the outcome that I cannot change. No, there are things I would rather not happen at a festive time such as this, but my wants and desires do not exists in other peoples minds. I only hope they realized how much I loved them both. But for the present the feeling alludes me. THIS FEELING CALLED LOVE.

Now that is what I am missing. This feeling of Love. LOVE NEVER FAILS.

I SO WANT EVERYONE, TO REALIZE WHETHER I GET THEM ONE PRESENT OR NOT THAT I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THEM FOREVER. I SO WANT TO EXPRESS MYSELF SUCH AS TO ALLOW EACH ONE I MEET THE FREEDOM TO SAY, WHO REALLY CARES WHAT YOU FEEL. FOR HOW MANY REALLY DO CARE WHAT SOMEONE FEELS. LIFE IS HARD TO BEAR FOR SOME AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN BITTER AS THEY AGE, BECAUSE I FOR ONE KNOW SOME PEOPLE DO NOT WISH ME GOODWILL, AND WOULD BE RATHER GLAD IF GOD DID NOT BLESS ME SO. THEY TOO HAVE LOST THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN THE REAL MEANING OF CHRISTMAS, LOVE IN ALL IT'S GLORY, FOR SOME ODD REASON OR OTHER.

BUT AS FOR ME, I WISH MY ENEMIES PEACE THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON. I TRULY DO!

THIS FEELING OF LOVE, I SEEM TO BE MISSING THIS YEAR. I KNOW IT IS REAL FOR I HAVE FELT IT MANY TIMES BEFORE EVERY CHRISTMAS AND EASTER THAT THE GOOD LORD HAS GIVEN ME. IT IS SUCH AN OVERWHELMING FEELING THAT ONE CANNOT BUY, NOR CAN ANYONE TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU.

Well then how does one obtain this SPIRIT OF LOVE?

THE VERSE, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, GIVES US THE CLUE.

Now that is a good signal to all that LOVE EXITS HEAVEN AND EXISTS ON EARTH. WE MUST BELIEVE IT, AT ALL TIMES, REGARDLESS OF HOW WE FEEL.

THE FACT THAT GOD HIMSELF WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIS SON TO SAVE US PEOPLE FROM PERISHING. AND HE SENT HIM IN THE FORM OF A BABY. LOVE HIMSELF!

THAT IS CHRISTMAS! PEOPLE WITH A BABY AND CHILDREN, ARE CLOSE TO THIS FEELING.

THIS HOLIDAY WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF THE CHRIST CHILD. BUT BELIEVE ME THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT DOES EXISTS WHETHER WE HAVE IT OR NOT. Depression does not hold a candle to the light this knowledge gives to all who believe.

MAY I WEATHER THIS FEEL-LESS FEELING AND BELIEVE IN MY HEART, WHAT GOD SAYS IS TRUE. GOD IS MORE THAN A MERE FEELING. I KNOW I HAVE GOD IN MY HEART. I KNOW I AM LOVED AS HE IS. I KNOW I LOVE. BUT KNOWING I LOVE AND FEELING I LOVE ARE TWO DIFFERENT ANIMALS ENTIRELY. FOR GOD SAYS HE IS LOVE.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FUNKY. ONE CANNOT FEEL HIM WHEN HE APPOACHES, ONE CAN ONLY SEE THE RESULTS OF HIS PRESENCE. BUT HE BRINGS A WONDERFUL FEELING. THEREFORE I KNOW I WILL SOON GET THIS FEELING OF LOVE. AS THE SPIRIT BLOWS LIKE THE WIND, SO THIS FEELING GOD ALLOWS AT THE BIRTH OF HIS CHRIST CHILD WILL SOON COME UPON ME LIKE THE SPIRIT IT REALLY IS.

IT IS NOT FAMILY & FRIENDS. ALBEIT IF WE CAN'T LOVE WHOM WE CAN SEE HOW ARE WE GONNA LOVE GOD WHOM WE CANNOT SEE? PEOPLE BE KIND TO ALL. IT MAY BE THE LORD HIMSELF, AND HE HAS A LOOONNNG MEMORY.

THE BEST KIDS IN THE WORLD

As you can see, by the title, I(Science Ed OSU) have a lovely idea about all 4 of my kids. THEY ARE ALL GENUIS'S as are their mates and our grandchildren. I spent a whole lot of time with each one of them, so I can truthfully say, I know them, each one, very well. I really can say this, after having raised all 4 kids, as a Housemother and a Homemaker. They all loved Cookies, Cakes, Pies, Cobblers, and Candies and lots of Homemade Meals. Not always elaborate ones, just simple fare, of Beans, Jalapeno Cornbread and Fried Potatoes a lot of the time. Also Fried Chicken, Biscuits and Gravy, and Fried Chicken Livers, Biscuits and Gravy, and Split Pea Soup with Carrots, Potatoes and Onions in it & Cornbread. I made a lot of Lentil Soup with Hamburger, Bell Peppers and Tomatoes in it along with my favorite, you guessed it, Cornbread a good ole Southern Dish. Well, Taboli comes in parallel, a Middle Eastern Dish,  Spaghetti & Meatballs You name it, I've probably cooked it.

Can't remember all of the food, but you get the jest of it. We spent many a nice time over sit down meals. And they all, still to this day, love to eat homecooked meals. Rebecca-Chemistry Degree Straight A Student, SOSU)(Home School Teacher now-GENUIS) our oldest daughter loves to cook them for her husband Russ(JOB RECREWTER-GENUIS) and two girls Abby and Izzy, our grandkids TWO GENUIS'S. And she loved to cook for her 3 younger brothers when she was at home. Her favorite cookie for the boys and us, was Snickerdoodles. Oh how wonderful they tasted. She learned to cook from me and boy could she cook some mean recipes. She is a fantastic cook. All the boys can cook fabulous also, they learned to cook from me and can now really cook for their wives. They are excellent Chefs. Just ask their wives for whom they love to cook. Course Abby is really learning how to cook for the family also.

Barbara-(Chemical Engineer OSU)(Home School Teacher now-GENUIS) our daughter who is married to our Middle Son Rathan(Electrical Engineer OSU-now-GENUIS), cooks homecooked meals all the time for Rathan and their 4 children, our grandkids. They have 1 oldest daughter who really knows how to cook for her 3 younger brothers, Audrey(A GENUIS). HER MOM(who is a great cook) TAUGHT HER HOW TO COOK. AND THE BOYS LOVE TO EAT HER COOKING. BRILLIANT BOYS, JOSHUA, JACOB AND DANIEL, I MIGHT ADD. GENUIS'S JUST ASK GRANDMA. I am sure all(THE BOYS)are learning how to cook also. Their dad Rathan cooks superbly. 
They have the same kids in their family that we did, Rebecca, daughter first, 3 sons afterward, Robert, Rathan and Ruben. They have Audrey, daughter first 15, 3 sons afterward, Joshua 12, Jacob 9. Daniel 6. It is so wierd how much their family emulates ours. Rathan certainly does justice to us. The only difference is, I did not homeschool our kids. I found the schools did a good job on each of our kids. They are certainly super educated kids. All the boys are Engineers and Rebecca is a Chemist. I have to give praise to the School System as it was when my kids went to school. But atlas that was a few years back. Now I believe the School System has lost it the day they took God out of it and Christian learning. You can't remove God and succeed. So I am now gung ho, for HOMESCHOOLING. AT LEAST YOU CAN TEACH GOD IN THE HOME.
 
They are all homeschooled so Audrey has time to learn to cook and plant gardens and learn about herbs and their use in cooking. She has cooked us some mightly fine dishes when we visited with them. So they are carrying on the tradition of Homecooked Meals for all the kids and grandkids. And yes, they all have the time for a Homecooked Meal, at a sit down Place so they can all talk about the days events or other interesting happenings. 

The key word here is 'TIME.' One has to make time to BREAK BREAD TOGETHER. IT IS AS SPIRITUAL A TIME AS IT IS A PHYSICAL TIME. TIME TO REPLENISH THE SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY, WITHIN A FAMILY. Our LORD knew this when He instigated the LORD'S SUPPER!

And games, yes, we probably played them. Sometimes I let them win, sometimes I didn't. But all in all they learned something from every game we played.

We had oodles of friends come and go within the realm of kids we had at home. They all seemed to love other people well. We enjoyed worshipping the LORD together as a family in several churches as we traveled and in our own private prayers. EACH CHILD DEVELOPED A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD WHILE AT HOME. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. THEY ALL KNOW HOW VERY MUCH GOD LOVES THEM. THIS HAS TO BE TAUGHT, CAUGHT AND FOUGHT FOR. DON'T LEAVE SPIRITUAL THINGS OUT. FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO LOVE AND WORSHIP GOD.

We moved a lot. Each move taught us something. My youngest son Ruben(Video Engineer Dallas Art Institue)-now GENUIS- MARRIED TO our daughter MICHELLE(ADVERTISING GENIUS UT)(she makes Tuna Noodle Casserole that is out of this world and Chicken Casserole and her Salads are fantastic)went to kindergarten in Abilene, Texas, and his teacher said, 'you know I think he may have a problem.' I asked why, 'she said, he doesn't know his own address and phone number. I looked at her, and said, 'no he has no problem.' 'He knows the phone numbers of all the other kids, because we moved a lot, and he realized no one was going to call him, so why learn his own phone number. So he learned their numbers so he could call them.' He learned a lot at 5 that some people never learn, that people are just people, and they require a little booster shot in friendship, meaning sometime you gotta be the friendly one all the time and reach out and touch others who are waiting for your touch.

I loved them all, each one so special then, and while they were growing up, and my love has only grown larger for each one of them, now that they are all married. My Love has multiplied for all 3 of our special daughters who are married to our sons. Robert & Jennifer, Rathan & Barbara, and Ruben & Michelle. They are all 3 daughters to me, and I tell them to call me, Mom. Russ my only Son in Law, I call, Son, and he calls me, Mom, also. He is married to our daughter Rebecca.

Take Robert(Industrial Engineer OSU-GENUIS) MARRIED TO our daughter JENNIFER(SPECIAL ED TEACHER OSU-GENUIS)(Love her Spaghetti-she puts frozen veggies in the Sauce-and Chocolate Chip Cookies, they are awesome), we flew rockets together and went to Scouts together, He learned to pray a rocket out of a tree. One day we set his rocket off and it landed in a big oak tree. He learned it takes time for God to answer prayers. Later on God blew that rocket out of that tree. We did a lot of fun things in Scouts, one I remember distinctly, was our working on allian invaders. We all took pipe cleaners and foil and made hats for us all. Rathan and Ruben got to do this stuff cause they were the Scout Leaders children, and we all did fun things together. We loved doing silly stuff together. I was his Leader. So I could really have fun trying out new things. He loved this kind of thing. He graduated OSU with an Industrial Engineering Degree, he is a Computer Consultant now. I am sure he remembers all the fun times we had, throughout his years at home.

Good and bad times come and go, but it is what sticks around that kids remember most of all. Friends that stuck with you, parents that loved you and stuck it out. Yes, sometimes it is easier to just throw in the towel, and say, 'I don't have to put up with this, but they do have to put up with it, for the kids sakes after all they did produce the kids and it ain't kind to Mother Nature to badmouth one of the parents to a kid. It is not cricket to throw in the towel, everytime someone disagrees with someone else.  Even kids sometimes want to leave home, but finally wake up and realize, 'hey this ain't so bad. So they change their minds and stay. I do believe they stayed, because they see, when we had problems, we stayed, and for that matter, 'ONE CANNOT RUN FROM THEIR PROBLEMS. They realize this is true. One always takes whatever is wrong WITH THEM. And sometimes, what is wrong is INSIDE OF THEM. AS WITH ALL OF US. Take a good strong look at yourself if you want to leave. Others ain't half as bad, as you think them to be.

I CANNOT SAY IT WAS ALL ROSES, for then I'd be a liar. BUT ROSES WERE NOT PROMISED US. WE WERE ONLY PROMISED, HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. NO MATTER WHAT COMES ABOUT IN LIFE, WE DON'T HAVE TO TRAVEL THAT ROAD ALONE.

This is just a tiny part of our life together, the kids and I. My husband Don(COMPUTER GENUIS Math Degree OSU), pretty much had to hold the fort. But we all survived the good the bad and the ugly, TOGETHER. This is why I remember so many good things, because I made the good happen. The meals, the fellowship, the games, the fun, the learning experiences, the sad times, the happy times, I oversaw it all. And low and behold I did try to share myself with my kids. I did not have them, and let someone else experience getting to know them better than me. I always said, Even if I wasn't the greatest Mother, I at least was a MOTHER TO THEM. Because I did not work we all had to learn to do without, THE FINEST FOODS AND CLOTHES. BUT I JUST LEARNED TO COOK BETTER WITH WHAT FOOD I HAD. But even in doing without name brand clothes, there is a lesson to be learned here. If someone only loves you cause you wear name brand clothes, then that AIN'T LOVE AT ALL. And you ain't missing much!!!

AND EVEN A BAD MOTHER(WRITING MOTHER-wrote songs) IS BETTER THAN NO MOTHER AT ALL.

But I found out, Kids love their Mother's, no matter what she's like.

By the same token, Mother's love their kids, no matter what they are like. And this Mother just happens to think I have the BEST KIDS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. I HAD 1 QUEEN AND 3 KINGS WHILE THEY WERE GROWING UP, AND I STILL HAVE, 1 QUEEN AND 3 KINGS NOW THAT THEY ARE ALL GROWN UP. THE WORLD MAY NOT KNOW THIS, BUT I KNOW IT. AND AS A MOTHER, JUST ASK ME WHAT I THINK ABOUT THEM, AND I WILL SAY:

I GOT 1 QUEEN AND 3 KINGS & THEY ALL LOVE THE LORD VERY MUCH!!!

THAT'S ALL THAT COUNTS!!!

Ok. I Repent:
Robert and Ruben Love their animals and care very much for them.
I would be derelict in my duty as a Mother if, I left out the love of their lives.
Robert  has 2 dogs Gabby and Sadie, two cats, Penelope and River and 4 mice(Anya, Cordelia, Lacy and Willow)

Ruben has Sweet Pea and Precious(who will make oodles of noise) and their New Dog(PARKER).
I cannot leave out Buddy Lee. He was a precious tyke whom the Lord allowed them to have for 12 years. He died New Years Eve Day. I really loved that dog he was so Stately. I tell you the truth, he was the classiest dog I ever saw in my life. Even when he begged it was in a classy sort of way, so prayerful like. He would stand up on his back two legs, and hold out his front paws in a way that would break your heart. And he  could stand for a very long time like this. I don't think he thought he was a dog. He had lots of character. And they loved him very much. He loved them very much. He loved me very much.

So  yes, I do love all their dogs and cats. They bring a whole lot of  love and acceptance
to everyone they meet. GOD GIVEN I MIGHT ADD!
GOD SAYS, 'YOU CAN TELL A WHOLE LOT ABOUT A MAN,
IN HOW HE TREATS HIS ANIMALS. SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT
TO TREAT YOUR ANIMALS WITH LOVE AND CARE.
So as you can see, all the animals ARE VERY PROTECTIVE OF THEIR OWNERS, as animals should be. AND THE OWNERS ARE ALL VERY PROTECTIVE OF THEIR  PETS!
AND YES, since we are part of the empty nest syndrome, now, I got me a dog,
NINA'S DOG (TIVA)FOLLOWS ME WHERE EVER
I GO. SHE IS CRAZY ABOUT ME AND PROTECTS ME for sure!(she's a healer).
